After finding out that the repairs on my current Acura RDX were going to cost more than my car was worth, a decision had to be made. He was very knowledgeable! After returning from the test drive of the car I thought I wanted he noticed me eyeing another and suggested we test drive that one as well. That was my car! I purchased a RDX Tech and couldn't be more happier. The day in between the purchase Edgar sent me a video of the car and thanked me for coming in, it was a nice added touch and the video and pictures reassured me that I really liked the car. The day of the purchase Edgar even sat down with me inside of the vehicle to go over every function and helped me to set up my phone to work with the vehicle. He is very knowledgeable of all of the cars and could give me the pros and cons of certain features and I found that to be very helpful. It started when my husband was shopping for a new vehicle. After getting the typical pushy treatment and inflated prices elsewhere, he connected with Edgar and Bill at Hendrick Acura in Durham. When we walked in to pick up his car, I was immediately struck by how welcoming, polished, and spotless the dealership was. While my husband went on a test drive, I found myself eyeing the new Acura MDX. Having owned an MDX in the past, I was blown away by the redesign. After finishing my husband's purchase, I casually asked if I could take the MDX for a spin. There was zero pressure—just a genuinely helpful walkthrough of the features and an effortless drive. Even while driving home in a downpour, I couldn’t stop thinking about that car. Once we picked out the exact trim and color, we reached back out to Edgar and Bill to see what they could do. Purchased a certified preowned 2021 Acura RDX approximately one year ago. Received a phone call from Edgar Murphy, a salesman interested in my experience with Hendrick Acura Southpoint. Had my Ac approximately one year ago. Received a phone call from Edgar Murphy, a salesman interested in my experience with Hendrick Acura Southpoint. Had my Acura in for service a few weeks ago and all went very well. I was informed there was a screen, which showed my speed on the windshield of my Acura that was not functioning properly. I was told my extended warranty did not cover that replacement. There had been a factory recall on the screen, but my model and mileage did not fit the recall. I explained to Mr. Murphy when he called what had happened and simply told him it was frustrating. When I have given feedback through surveys and phone calls in the past rarely if ever did I ever hear anything back as a result of my input. This was different. Within an hour or two I received a call from the service department letting me know they were going to look into my frustration. The next business day I was told it would be replaced by Acura and needless to say I was very pleased and appreciative of Mr. Murphy‘s attention to my problem. Thanks to Scott Price my service manager for his attention and getting this issue resolved. I have a lot of faith in Hendrick Acura Southpoint thanks to Mr. Murphy and Mr. Price. More

From initial contact through the purchase, we cannot say enough good things about Hendrick Acura Southpoint. One of our best buying experiences ever. There is a reason they have 4.9 out of 5 on nearly 3600 Google reviews. That doesn’t happen by accident. And they didn’t even have the car I wanted. They had to acquire it from their sister dealership in Charlotte, and that process was flawless. They kept us informed all along the way, and Edgar sent us videos of the car when it arrived. That was very much appreciated. Trust me when I tell you that if you don’t at least give them the opportunity to earn your business, you’re doing yourself a disservice. And the dealership itself is just pristine inside and out, with plenty of parking and lots of options on every model. And the entire auto mall is all Hendrick and includes Subaru, Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, Porsche, Mercedes and BMW.
