I’m taking back my original 5 stars…My experience with Hendrick Chevrolet wasn’t what I expected. We purchase a 2014 Silverado on 7/27/2021. My first contact with the sales person wasn’t pleasant, I was t Hendrick Chevrolet wasn’t what I expected. We purchase a 2014 Silverado on 7/27/2021. My first contact with the sales person wasn’t pleasant, I was turned away and told I couldn’t look at the truck without an appointment. My Husband schedule an appointment and we were able to see and test drive the truck. We decided to purchase the truck but there was some minor repairs that needed to be done, there was a bird nest in the front grill, a section of the carpet needed to be replaced behind the passenger seat and the back seat needed to be cleaned. We were told the repairs were already noted and scheduled and it should only take a couple of days to repair. We used our own financing which appeared to foreign to them, there was major confusion on what should be done. To our surprise we did not take delivery of the truck until 8/11/2021. My husband had to contact them several times to get a status on when the truck would be ready. We went back to them after the third day to request a loaner vehicle. We finally go to pick it up and the birds nest was still there the backseat wasn’t cleaned, so we still have to take it back to be cleaned.There customer service is lacking. We were not accommodated in anyway for the inconvenience. We only received one key and my Husband asked if they could at least provide us a second key. He was told, they are not required to give a second key on a used vehicle. That’s understandable but for the inconvenience and to satisfy your customer that should have been done for free..they offered it at cost. I’ve purchased several vehicles over my lifetime but this was one of my worst. More

Be careful buying a CERTIFIED vehicle from them. You would expect being certified that the vehicle wouldn't need tires or maintenance to be done. But, i bought a vehicle that the front tires were making would expect being certified that the vehicle wouldn't need tires or maintenance to be done. But, i bought a vehicle that the front tires were making a horrible sound due to the front end being out of alignment and worn. They would not replace the tires at all. I went to the service center to purchase the tires and stood around and waited on someone to talk to me but my presence wasn't even acknowledged. I will know better next time to avoid this dealership. Good luck if you buy from Hendrick Chevy in Hoover, Al. More
