We dealt with Scott T. who seems like a good guy working at a dealership with shady pract Complete lack of integrity at Hendrick Chevrolet in Hoover. We dealt with Scott T. who seems like a good guy working at a dealership with shady practices. Found a used car there for my son who is turning 16. Decided to buy it near closing time on a Friday night. They didn't ask us to put down a deposit or sign anything, we agreed we would come back the next day. Driving to the dealership the next day, Scott called and said they sold the car out from under us (the car was being detailed for delivery to us, and this dealership let someone else test drive it and ultimately buy it). Imagine the devastation of my son who thinks he is on his way to get his first car, only to be disappointed and learning the unfortunate life lesson that car dealers are unscrupulous. Scott said he would make things right, but they are unwilling to transfer a similar car for the same price. So they are willing to make things right as long as they can still turn a hefty profit. I asked a couple times for the sales manager to call me, but never got a call. Do yourself a favor and stay away. More
