“My FIRST SERVICE VISIT WAS OUTSTANDING”. I drove down from the Boston area and when I arrived I noticed a funny sound coming from my A/C fan. And also my brakes were scraping. I figured this was going to be a LARGE repair bill coming...but when I arrived Ray, the service manager explained the examination process to locate the problems. I told Ray, I thought it was just a piece of paper or an object rubbing against the fan behind the glove box...immediately, he pulled out the glove box, stuck his hand on and pulled out 3 Dunkin Donuts straws which had become lodged in the fan blade housing. PROBLEM FIXED. I was impressed to see the service manager getting his hands dirty, so to speak!! The brakes were the same easy fix—-just rusty rotors, with the pads still in good shape. Hendrick did not try to SELL me new pads and or rotors, like other Honda dealers I have dealt with in the past. JUST TELL THE TRUTH, AND FIX WHAT WAS NEEDED. A GREAT FIRST,—- OF MANY REVISITS —-TO HENDRICK HONDA. More

However, this dealership is very different from the other dealership I bought two other Civics from (2013 and 2016).. I mainly dealt with Greg Wilbur and was very impressed, very easy person to work with. This car is my third Civic. The other dealership gives two free oil changes with a new car purchase and gives a 10% discount on any parts bought. It also throws in a lifetime warranty on the engine and drive train for free with the purchase of a new car. On the other hand Hendricks Honda of Bradenton gives nothing and in fact tries to sell you a multi year oil change deal amonst other things. The purchase price was fair as I went in armed wit KBB, Edmunds, and Black Book pricing information. More

My wife and I just purchased a CR-V EX-L vehicle from Hendrick and I can honestly say that I have never experienced a more pleasant purchase of a new vehicle. I have been a service customer of Hendrick for many years and I can state without hesitation that their service department is first rate [please bring back Matt Winslow] and always very customer orientated. I usually do not buy my new car from a smaller dealership simply because the large dealers with extra volume can afford to reduce their overall price more often than a smaller dealer can. But, although Hendrick may not be as big as some other dealers, it is just as ready to make a good deal as the biggest dealers in Florida. And my deal was very good. So it was this past weekend when Hendrick employees not only met my expectations but greatly exceeded them. First, they made my wife & I feel like we were celebrity buyers and accorded as every courtesy you would expect & some that you might not expect. Starting with Pernell Engram I knew this was going to be a much better experience than I have had in the past. Pernell is the most popular sales consultant on site and justly so. He gave me a great deal, one that I was not expecting; he was with us thru the whole process from the time we got there until the moment we left. [And this was with other customers that he had to serve.] He even spent some time going over all of the features in the vehicle and made sure that I understood the principal ones. Melissa Richardson was the finance person who assisted us. Melissa, like Pernell, has a great personality and really wants to help people with their car buying experience. She wrote up the deal and explained everything to us. We went to Marco for financing and he was so informative and gave us information that we needed to complete the deal. His high tech operation was very useful and saved us a lot of time. Overall, I expected it would take at least 5 hours to complete everything necessary to drive the new car off the lot. It took only four hours and we made it to lunch that day with a new car. Hendrick will of course continue to get my service business and I would recommend them 100% to any friend or relative that needs a new (or used) car. More

She called Hendrick Honda just to ask for some guidance as to what could be the problem. Marc Kassel answered the phone, a salesman. He talked for a little while and then told her to wait, he was on his way to look at the car!!!! A salesman, right off the showroom!! Their shop was closed and he took it upon himself to help her!!! He arrived at our house and told her what was wrong and she promptly got it fixed!! Who does that?!! This man was amazing. He saved her whole weekend. If it was not for him she would have been without a car the whole weekend and the beginning of the week. So, the story does not end there....I went to Honda the following Monday to get my seat fixed, which they promptly did, and I walked out with a brand new car. He was able to get me low payments with a beautiful car! Payments that are great for my budget. I cannot say enough about this man, and Hendrick Honda..
