Could not have been a better transaction! I started off checking on prices others were reporting on Edmunds.com, then contacted Honda of Bradenton for a price. Adam responded. I told him what I've been seeing online and he beat the price. I told him I was going to shop his price around and give him an opportunity to do better if anyone beat it. Of five dealers, only one could (Kuhn in Tampa) and they were also terrific to deal with. But, I kept to my word and came back to Adam. He did what he promised to do, arranged everything for me, got me what I wanted with even nicer features than I expected, and did everything exactly to my timeframe. I'm sure I'm a pain to work with because I like everything fully explained and detailed in writing but he was great to work with. He even programmed my radio stations from my lease turn-in vehicle while I was finishing paperwork. His customer service instincts are spot-on and he's not a pushy sales-jerk like one might expect to find. I hope he's still there when I go back in three years! (I leased again.) More

I was at the dealer last Sunday with a preapproval letter from my lender for 120% up to 12000. The dealer is listed as a preferred vendor with my lender so I am supposed to be able to bring in the pre-approv from my lender for 120% up to 12000. I test drove a 2006 Sonata and loved it....(this is after they lost my driver's license while making a copy of it...big no no) Negotiated the price to be within the limits of the loan. Left the dealer on Sunday night at closing with the car and a loaner agreement to take it home for the night and return the next day to sign paperwork. I returned the next day at 7pm to sign the paperwork and leave with the vehicle....Both of which happened. While signing, I was asked by Steve Morris (finance guy) to fill out a credit application because my lender might need it. I thought it was strange, protested alittle, but filled out a portion of the form (no SSN #). Needless to say..I was contacted by Honda Cars of Bradenton yesterday to explain that my loan was not approved by my lender and that I needed to come up with an additional 1200 or go with another lender of theirs to get approval. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I am looking for help from you...I think this might be just another scam by dealers to offset their expenses....get them to leave in the vehicle and then after a week or so, explain that they need to go with this OTHER lender to get approval. All while the dealer has a special arrangement with the lender to get them deals for a "referral fee". Matt Woods (general manager) basically said he knew they screwed up but didn't think they needed to do anything to correct the issue. Basically said that the vehicle was his and he wanted it back if I wasn't going to pay more or go with his new lender. To me this smells like the classic bait and switch and I wanted to make sure others didn't get taken advantage by it. More

I was in Florida on Vacation visiting my parents. My mother needed a new car so we went on the hunt. Our second stop was at Honda Cars of Bradenton. We were refered to Jon Nosal by a salesman at the first dealership we visited (not a Honda store). Jon's approach was second to none. He was kind, professional, fun to work with and very patient. After we found the Accord for my mother my father decided that he wanted the new Accord Coupe. Jon, the management and the organization are second to none. Great job and I know you have gained two very happy customers. More
