I took used car in for evaluation to see if there were any major repairs needed. I was quoted an expected wait time of 90 minutes. The whole process ended up taking over 3 and a half hours. Specifically once the inspection was done and I had paid and everything seemed all set, it took the dealership 30 minutes to get my car out of the garage and pulled out front for me to leave. Everyone was nice and apologetic but the service was much slower than expected / quoted. More
Good price but they waste your time and are careless I am happy with the price I paid for my car, but (1) they service is incredibly inefficient; (2) you have to follow up multiple times just to get your I am happy with the price I paid for my car, but (1) they service is incredibly inefficient; (2) you have to follow up multiple times just to get your car and (3) someone at the dealership hit and dented my car before I even picked it up, resulting in more work and more delay. PROS: If price is all you care about when buying a used car, I do think Herb Chambers has a good SMART pricing system that is objectively a good deal. I did significant research before purchasing the car and the price was the best I could find for the model and the miles. I tried to negotiate the SMART price and didn't get very far so if you don't like negotiating, the SMART price is a good way to go. CONS: Service is abysmal. I spent well over 5 hours in the dealership just trying to pay for and finalize documents for the car. Most could have been done online. I didn't even finance my car, I paid entirely in cash. I would make appointments and they were always late, leaving me to sit in the waiting room until I stood and acted like I was leaving. Only then would someone come help me. Because the car needed work done, they had to it to the body shop to fix. On Tuesday I walked to the body shop with my salesperson and the manager of the shop said it would definitely be done on Friday. On Friday my salesperson calls me to say it will be ready on Monday. I asked why not Friday and he said "Friday was what we were shooting for." Nope, you and the shop manager said it would be done on Friday; it was not aspirational, it was promised. Monday rolls around, I get another call from my salesperson asking for my social security number. He had written it down in my folder a few days prior. There was no need to call me, he already had the information. Then he tells me that someone at the lot HIT my car, there was a big dent and they needed to send it back to the body shop for two to three days. Three days letter I message him to ask where my car is. He says he'll ask and follow up that morning. He doesn't get back to me. I call that afternoon to speak to the manager who calls the shop and tells me it will be ready at 5pm on Friday. So, five days from originally informing me of the dent, not three. And I had to do all the following up myself. I have now paid for the car 10 days ago and still don't have it AND they caused damage to it since I bought it without offering me any refund, discount, rebate on the damage, which I did not even see. I have already told people who are in the market for a CR-V that it's a great car but I will never use this dealership again. More

I got my new car 10 days after I signed all my paper work and approvals and etc. also the brand new car had 100miles already on it. So little frustrated to follow up to get my car on time. Sales and finance representatives are really helpful in answering our questions. We need some more patience to get things done very quickly. The management folks understand if we address any concerns to them. So it's great pleasure to work with them. Thanks More

(A couple next to me were told a particular vehicle was ready for them to test drive. However, no such vehicle was on the premises when they arrived. The person working with them was unapologetic & unsympathetic. The Sales manager's name (Andrew Wenger) AND email were misspelled on his business card. As soon as he learned I could not afford what they were asking for the vehicle I liked, rather than trying to work with me, he was dismissive. They do not answer follow up emails. However I am continually getting emails addressed to 'Julia Camille' (not me), thanking me for my business. There is no link to unsubscribe. After I threatened to write this review, I received an email saying they had removed me from the mailing list. However, I am continuing to get emails addressed to Julia Camille. This place is cutthroat & a nightmare. More
