Let me say this very clearly: THERE IS NO SITUATION IMAGINABLE THAT WOULD MAKE ME CONSIDER PURCHASING A CAR OR GETTING SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. Nor will anyone that I know or that will hear IMAGINABLE THAT WOULD MAKE ME CONSIDER PURCHASING A CAR OR GETTING SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. Nor will anyone that I know or that will hear me be under the impression that this place is anything but TERRIBLE. I am so disappointed in this place that I have LITERALLY JOINED YELP TO WARN PEOPLE AGAINST THE TRULY AWFUL SERVICE that you will receive at this place. If only I was allowed to give this place 0 stars, I certainly would and I am truly SHOCKED that this place receives anything but 1 star reviews. In hopes that you will think twice about going to this scam of a dealership, here's my story: I foolishly decided that since the Herb Chambers name was so big that I might be able to feel a little more comfortable that I wouldn't be getting ripped off--this turns out to be a TERRIBLE decision. I found a used Toyota on the website and decided to go down to the Herb Chambers Honda dealership (where it was located) to take a look. Beginning with the incredibly rude woman on the phone, every single person that I dealt with was atrociously rude and used car salesman cheesy. The salespeople told me everything I wanted to hear from "yeah, of course we'll take care of that" to "the car is in wonderful shape", "we're going to throw in your next service for free". Fine, decided to buy it. Then, they transfer you to the "finance office", where we encountered the RUDEST person I have ever met in my entire life--didn't have a clue as to the promises that the salespeople made and had no interest whatsoever in hearing about them. Most shockingly, we were offered the ridiculous "5 day no questions guarantee"--but the date started that day DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY WERE "PUTTING THE CAR IN THE SHOP TO CLEAN IT UP" AND I COULDN'T PICK IT UP FOR 5 DAYS. At this point, I'm not surprised that this is another one of their marketing gimmicks. Now, to the good part. During the "sale" portion, I was promised that the brakes were "in great shape, no problems at all". The second I drove off the lot, I started to feel the brakes seizing up. I brought the car back for a service appointment 2 days later (because that was as early as they could fit me in) and all they told me was that they didn't know Toyota's, I'd have to bring it to HC Toyota. I did and HC Toyota told me directly that the brakes "were all rusted and I'd need 4 new calipers, 4 new rotors and 4 new sets of pads". Ok... that doesn't sound like "great shape" to me. I bring it back to HC Honda and they said "HC Toyota doesn't know what they are talking about, you don't need new brakes". I'VE NOW OWNED THE CAR FOR 2.5 MONTHS. I'll spare you all the details, mostly because I'd rather not give Herb Chambers even 2 more seconds of brain space, but I've now had 4 (FOUR!!) SERVICE APPOINTMENTS with Herb Chambers Honda, 2 MORE SERVICE APPOINTMENTS with Herb Chambers Toyota and there is still something going on with the car (I truly have no idea what it is--but I would have thought that the car dealership would be able to figure that out. not the case.). The ironic part is that I am a super reasonable person. All I'm asking is that the company that tricks you into spending money with them actually takes some credit and helps you figure out what is wrong with the piece of junk they sold you. Finally, because HC Toyota diagnosed the need for 4 new brakes, I convinced them do fix them, but the problem with the car has not stopped. Now, the mechanic told me "it may just be a bad powertrain"--really? So, what, I'm supposed to just accept the fact that your dealership sold me a car with "a bad powertrain"? One more service appointment and now you know what their final suggestion is? I'VE NOW BEEN TOLD "WE CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS, BUT IT'S A USED CAR, MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE CONSIDERED THAT WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT". I'm begging you, please consider one of the many, many, many other options you have for used cars in Boston--Herb Chambers Honda seems to have forgotten that can't treat people like garbage and expect to stay in business, please don't reward them for it. Elie could not have been more unprofessionally rude if he tried. I am convinced he logged on and rated himself the 5 star rating because his quality of work does not merit anything above bad. It is crystal c tried. I am convinced he logged on and rated himself the 5 star rating because his quality of work does not merit anything above bad. It is crystal clear from the first minute of meeting Elie that everything he does in life is to benefit himself and only himself. He is extremely short tempered and is in no way looking to "help you buy a car" but purely looking to make his own profits and incentives. His email correspondence is at a 3rd grade writing level and he fails to even use spell check. If you make an appointment with him you will in fact still wait around until he's done scamming other customers just so he can squeeze a little life out of you. I left the dealership 100% defeated and angered every time I went there. He is the definition of a scummy slimy salesman and he reeks of egotistical arrogance. More

For me better 100% more than Others Dealer like Quirk Family and Liberty Mazda just to mentioned some of the WORSE Dealer of New England Which is not a HONEST Dealer they really DiS-HONEST and arrogants. They Don't care for your Business, they desperate for your sale to rip you off your money, Energy and time. I will recommend this Excellent Dealer for all my friend and co-workers and family.
