It was quickly explained that I was a bit backwards in my thinking and that I should at least pick out a vehicle first. So I sat in one then another and called my better half down to take a test drive. Admittedly, I did the walk of shame for my credit was certainly not the best. So as we waited for the fate of my financing, my daughter was entertained by Ford the dealership's pet bird. Needless to say we drove out of there with the vehicle we wanted, a reasonable payment, 3 yr waurentee and gap insurance. The salesman/ owner Jake and finance guy Dave were excellent to work with. I felt truly comfortable with the whole experience. The truck is beautiful!! It is having a low battery issue but as promised they are ordering us a new one. Right before we left, the owner shook my hand and stated that it was an absolute pleasure doing business with me and honestly I believed he was sincere and left feeling valued and appreciated. I would give Putnam Ford my highest recommendation. More
Car Starter I had gotten a gift card for a car starter for Christmas, so I brought it down to Putnam Ford to have it put in and get a oil change also. When the service was done they had called to say it was done, but they couldn't put in the car starter because it wasn't a brand new vehicle. They gave me the name and number for the guy that does them for the dealership. So I said ok. Then I talked with Tim Campbell about getting my money back because that was intended for the starter. Come to find out the service dept. dropped the ball and Tim Campbell picked it up and fixed the issue by having my vehicle picked up that night, having it put in for the next day. 8 o'clock in the morning rolls around and I had gotten a call from the owner of Putnam Ford saying your trucks all set and you can pick it up. I really want to thank Tim Campbell even though he's the sales manager for helping me with a service center's expertise and getting the job done. More
