My parents picked Herson's Honda to fix their car after an accident because this is where they bought their car, they figured it would be a wise choice to have the car fixed because they might have better an accident because this is where they bought their car, they figured it would be a wise choice to have the car fixed because they might have better knowledge of the car and take pride in their work or... something. Original estimates were around 4 grand and 1 week. its been 10 grand and 4 weeks. We are still waiting. At the rate we are going, we might as well declare our vehicle totaled because kbb retail value of our car is only $14,000 in excellent condition BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. Coming back a full circle, we only got the car fixed because herson's told us the car WAS WORTH FIXING. See where I'm going with this. In addition to that bit of fun fact in the back of our heads, we've been told to pick up our car twice, the first time they claimed the car was fixed it couldn't even be driven off the lot without fumes/smoke/badness gushing out the entire front end of the car. second time as the car drove liquids were leaking everywhere, our roof rack went mysteriously missing, and one of the front rims also suspiciously unmatched to the other 3 since we last saw it. My parents are only left only to their wildest imaginations to what else can happen when they go back to pick up the car for a 3rd round, possibly more. Like others before have said, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE MOTH-R FU--ING PLAGUE. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AT THE VERY BEST. More
My main contact with this dealership is Shahul Usman, internet sales. He was competitive, quick and no nonsense, no hidden fees. One of my best new car sales experiences. internet sales. He was competitive, quick and no nonsense, no hidden fees. One of my best new car sales experiences. More
After my car was hit by a driver who had Traveller's Insurance, I took the latter's advice and brought my car to Herson's Body Shop for repairs. Though they carried out the basic terms of the Trave Insurance, I took the latter's advice and brought my car to Herson's Body Shop for repairs. Though they carried out the basic terms of the Traveller's inspection and list, the experience was a nightmare. First, they repeatedly called me to persuade me to get further work done beyond the required repairs, threatening the dangers of my not doing so. I gave in on two of their requests because I was upset at the time and believed their hard sell, though I'd have to pay for those extra services on my own. A few days after I picked up my car I noticed something was strange about the lock, which had been removed to carry out the Traveller's repairs. About a week later the front door locked did not work at all. I took my car back to Herson's, though it is far from where I live. They insisted the fault was not theirs, but that someone had tried to break into my car, thus causing the damage which I'd have to pay for myself. Then they noticed a problem with the front bumper, claiming it was unsafe, gave me a rough estimate of the cost to repair it. Again the tone was intimidating. I got a call later that day about "further damage" which increased the amount I'd have to pay considerably. I said just leave it alone, but they refused. Either I had to have the car towed about 20 or 30 miles, without a front bumper, or pay their newly estimated price. Throughout, the staff, especially a woman named Michele, was rude and completely disrespectful. I advise people to avoid this place like the plague and wonder how they stay in business, given their intimidation and exorbitant pricing. More
These people are completely incompetent and scams you at the same time. I had to bring my car in 3 times to fix a problem with ABS/TCS dash light coming on and it still doesn't work right. The first time the same time. I had to bring my car in 3 times to fix a problem with ABS/TCS dash light coming on and it still doesn't work right. The first time they said that there was no problem. Second time, they kept it for 3 days. When I picked it up and drove it for less than 2 miles, the light came back on, and the ABS fires continuously, rendering the car undriveable. The third time they kept it for a month (that's no typo, 1 month!) because a part was on "back order." Now it still make a weird noise. Also, if you bring your car in for an oil change, they'll do the next scheduled maintenance without your permission and then try to charge you for it. Checked with a few friends and found out that's this is their normal business practice. Also, don't hold you breath waiting for them to call you. Even though tell say they'll return your call "right away," they never do. Unless you want a headache, stay away from these guys. More
