When I approached the dealer showroom john raleigh came outside to greet me and introduce himself. I was very impressed and relieved. Even though I arrived by 4:00 pm, the entire Sales Team stayed there until 9:00 pm to make sure I was happy with a vehicle I liked and could afford. I wasn't able to leave that night with the car but came back the next day. Again, John and Steve the financial Mgr, worked past closing, so that I would be satified with my experience at Hertrich of New Castle. More

Lack of Follow up & Focus We drove up to Newcastle about a 2 Hour drive from where I live and was disappointed with the car that we had driven up for. However we did find a com We drove up to Newcastle about a 2 Hour drive from where I live and was disappointed with the car that we had driven up for. However we did find a comparable car around the same price point and the initial processwent very well but it wasn't until we started processing the paperwork that things went downhill. First the woman processing my paperwork process my pre-approved check for the full amount, despite me telling her that I had money that I was putting down so right off the bat I am now paying more interest for a loan due to her rushing and not paying attention. Then they told me that they were going to have one of their associates come down to my area to pick up the car and have it inspected because I lived in Maryland and I need to get inspected by there in order to get my tags. They said they would call me and it could take up to almost a full two months in which my tags would eventually expire in order to do so. However about three days before my tags expire I get a panicked phone call that they need to come down and order to get it inspected and unfortunately that date does not work for me so I told him any other day would work but due to "bad weather" they were unable to come down and with the weekend coming up wouldn't be able to get it inspected it till after my tags expired. So that meant that I would be without a car and to shorten this window of time I decided to get the inspection on my own and send off all the information to them. After a few days I get a call saying I need to drive up to Delaware to get my tags which is ironic because my temp tags are expired and clearly I couldn't drive up there to get it. They finally mailed my tags and after about a week of not being able to use my cars I get my tags and that's it. No follow up or phone call or communication or even an apology really. Due to the inconvenience especially since they were planning on paying for the inspection from the beginning I asked to get reimbursed for the money I paid and sent them the receipt but never heard anything back in fact they never would return any of my phone calls they basically ignored me, avoided my calls, and didn't answer any of my emails until eventually when I went off on a rampage the response I got was an even related to the email I sent. I was really disappointed at the lack of communication after the sale of the car and it was almost as if they could care less because they already got their sale. I asked questions about warranty and other inspections and never heard anything back. Pretty upset at how my first car buying experience went. More

Very happy with our experience!! This was the first time we had been to this dealership with looking for a car. It was a very nice experience.
