Jan, As previously discussed, it is standard industry practice to deliver pre-owned vehicles with the keys available at the time of acquisition. In our case, we follow this approach in order to maintain competitive pricing and pass those savings on to our customers. Similarly, when we receive trade-ins, it is common for customers to provide only the keys they have on hand. Requiring two keys from every trade-in is typically not practical, and aligning with this norm allows us to offer the best possible value to our buyers. Happy Motoring, Team Hi-Line Autohaus

Hmm In my mind BMW x3 is not industry standard . It is above and beyond just as your dealership should be in re the vehicle. Seems it would be in your best interest to replace the missing fob and offer it with the vehicle rather than make excuses for why you don’t have it. Just curious as to why several employees “looked” for it prior to close of sale. Hopefully this review will reach others. Not my normal practice. Thanks
