The experience, from the initial contact through the vehicle pick up, was outstanding. All of the individuals that I dealt with were professional, respectful and knew their product. The negotiations went smoothly. I didn't get all that I wanted but neither the dealer. My initial impression of the car is very favorable. I traded in a 2012 Acura TL and this is IMO a better automobile. As as FYI, I did a lot of research on this and other vehicles prior to buying. So far, so good. I've purchased quite a few new cars over the last 5 years, and I'm not new to the pressure that is anticipated to come from a salesman when entering a dealership, but with Norbert at Hoffman Lexus, the years, and I'm not new to the pressure that is anticipated to come from a salesman when entering a dealership, but with Norbert at Hoffman Lexus, the experience was great. I've dealt with salesmen that were far too pushy, or gave me the sense that they did not respect me as a buyer or someone who might know a thing or two about cars, but with Norbert, that was not the case. He was still a salesman, he still used the strategies we all come to expect from them, however he was never at any point over the top, pushy, or making me uncomfortable. I came in looking for a very specific certified pre-owned lexus, and he did a great job at finding multiple cars for me to choose from (one of which I ended up purchasing a few days later) that weren't outside my parameters. Nothing's more annoying than asking for a white coupe with 10,000 miles, and you're shoved into a blue sedan with 40,000 miles. As a mechanical engineer, I know a little bit about what makes a car tick, and in the past I've dealt with salesmen that felt like they were going out of their way to prove me wrong or make me feel dumb, but Norbert actually listened, and understood my concerns and did a great job of addressing them, and even found someone from the service department to answer a question he wasn't 100% sure on. When it came time to crunch numbers with him too, he was not unreasonable. I did my homework ahead of time, and he never once gave me the impression that we couldn't make a deal we both could agree on. Their financial managers were also very clear and reasonable as well while explaining additional coverages like extended warranties and the simoniz protections, I didn't feel like they were jerking me around at any point. As a dealership, they take care of you. I ran into a minor issue with one of the break calipers a few months after I took home the car I purchased, and no questions asked, they took it back and fixed it, gave me a free rental (newer version of the same car) in the meantime, and even feed me food. As long as I'm in the market for a new or used lexus, I'm absolutely heading back there, and I'll definitely ask for Norbert again. More

Recent visit was to trade for certified late model Lexus, but acquired 2013 Lexus 300h hybrid after conversation with Norbert explaning the features of the 2013 hybrid. Norbert was very profession, believable but not aggressive, and allowed me to make my own decissions.The purchase of a new cars should be an exciting and rewarding experience and Norbert accomplished that with me. Norbert's instructions for operating the "electronic wizard" called a Lexus 300h hybrid, was clear, detailed, and always followed by, do you have any more questions. My need to refer to the 3 Lexus operating manuals have been very infrequent since the purchase. More

Their tech guy Derek answered all my questions and gave me an hour long, personal tutorial on all the operating features of my vehicle. It saved me a lot of time flipping through the owners manual. I have never encountered such a knowledgeable, helpful and courteous staff of professionals at any other car dealer. Hoffman gets my vote as the best dealership in CT. More

Angie had been referred to me by our long time service specialist at Hoffman. she was very organized and took us through the leasing and car selection process. Her commitment to her job at Hoffman was very obvious. She followed up with a call after we had taken delivery of our new RX 350 to insure that we had no more questions on the many features of the car. She also reminded us of the seminar that Hoffman will host for new owners of Lexus products this September. We immediately blocked the date to attend. We have no doubt that she will be on the phone to confirm that we plan to attend. We have leased 4 RX's from Hoffman in the past and this will be our 5th. While our experience with Hoffman has always been great, Angie has been a real star for the firm! More

I lost my key to my car while traveling on business. Unfortunately my only key, I had to get a new one made and the expense is very heavy.
