I found Larry Mendez to be knowledgeable and quite approachable. I did not feel pressure to buy the car and honestly, I had a budget and they worked with me. I truly feel that I got a great car. At Kuni, from the start, it was always presented as do-able and I actually felt comfortable during the entire negotiation and final transaction. I really like the "little extras" that Kuni provided. The free detail and tire rotation of the car for life. Very nice for a single parent and full time student who could use all the extras she can get. Larry was a good salesman but I really appreciated his sense of humor. That is what made me feel comfortable with him. That cannot be taught, that is just a part of who he is. Finally, I had been in a 5 car accident and totaled my previous vehicle. A car that I truly loved and had no intention of getting rid of. This entire situation caused me a great deal of stress. I have an 84 mile commute to school four days a week. In addition, I have a beautiful daughter that plays volleyball all around the state. I needed a safe, reliable vehicle on a single parent budget. I found that car at Kuni Honda and can't express how relieved I am that I have a great car to get me where I need to go. Overall a very good car buying experience. I bought a used car I had initially found on the internet and the used care team was great. Larry was very patient with the test drive and was happy to let me used car I had initially found on the internet and the used care team was great. They even agreed to fix a few minor problems with the car even though it was supposed to be 'as-is'. The service department in that case has been great as well, letting me use a loaner car during the time it took to fix my car. The only complaint I have is the price and the negotiating. I'm not great at haggling and that seemed to be required from the used car manager. Also bit upset that they listed my trade-in for $3500 more than they gave me, and that they listed it before they even received it from me (had to go back a few days later to drop it off to them).
