Dealing with Kuni Honda was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered from a dealership. We were looking to purchase a specific vehicle for about 1 year and found what we were looking for on Kun I have ever encountered from a dealership. We were looking to purchase a specific vehicle for about 1 year and found what we were looking for on Kuni’s website. We scheduled a time with Natalie to look at this vehicle on a Monday evening and confirmed with her 1 hour before driving 60 miles to the dealership to make sure it was still available. She said it was so we drove to the dealership to find out that Natalie was not there like she said she would be and to find out that we wouldn’t be working with her anyway because she was just in the BDC. We were handed off to Justin who went searching for the keys and the vehicle. After a considerable time waiting he came back and informed us the vehicle we drove 60 miles to see was not available to look at and was currently at the Nissan dealer getting something fixed. Justin did get a sales manager involved which all in all said sorry we will let you know when it is back from getting fixed. No solution was presented at the time we were there, we were only told by Justin they would follow up with us on Tuesday as to when it would be available to look at and what they could do to make it right. We did not receive a call Tuesday so we decided to call that afternoon and were told by Justin that it was scheduled to be back the following day. Again we were told we would get an update on Wednesday and again no word from anyone. Wednesday evening comes along and still no word so I call once again, Justin is off and no manager is available so I was transferred to Chris’s voice mail. I explained the entire situation and left a call back number. We waited till Friday and still no call back so I called once again and spoke with Tim who I explained the entire situation to again and was put on hold so he could check on the status. When he came back to the call I was informed that the Vehicle had sold 2 days prior and that he was sorry no one followed up with us. No one ever attempted to follow through with what they had promised and they all seemed uninterested in making a sale. We expressed how interested we were in the vehicle initially and were told that we would be the first ones contacted when it was available to see. We purchased a 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD w/NAV to replace my wife's RAV4 which was written off due to a collision with a deer. During the purchasing process, Jesse and the entire team at Kuni were very helpful and knowledgeable with finding the vehicle that would meet our needs as a family with neither the high-pressure sales tactics nor any problems whatsoever with integrity or honesty. We test drove two vehicles and settled on the one we ultimately purchased. The Pilot at delivery was *impeccably* well detailed and in exceptionally good condition both in cosmetic appearance as well as operational performance. After a few days, the vehicle runs probably as well as it did back when it was brand new - we have no regrets about this purchase. Jesse's team were more than reasonable and cooperative during the negotiation of the final sales price (probably due to the plentiful inventory on hand). If we, at some point, decide to replace my 2002 Civic, we certainly will consider making the purchase at Kuni. Jerry Williamson More
