On Feb 17th we brought out Pilot in for what my wife described to Mr. Butcher as a rattling noise. A service Tech moved the A/C bracket which was touching lines. Tech stated there was a test drive and t described to Mr. Butcher as a rattling noise. A service Tech moved the A/C bracket which was touching lines. Tech stated there was a test drive and the noise was gone. However, when my wife came home that night the vehicle was making the same noise that we took it in for. I personally brought it in a few weeks later. I dropped the vehicle off with Mr. Staab and I had him listen to the noise - He described it as a chirping noise. As a note I could hear the chriping at his computer across the bay from the vehicle over other cars running in the bay. I later was informed that there was a service bulletin to install a taper shim 2 kit, a belt tensioner was also replaced. I inquired why this noise was not better diagnosed, as well as why if there was service bulletin why my vehicle made it out a few weeks prior without being properly diagnosed. I was informed that since my wife described the noise as a rattling that the service tech felt he had taken care of the problem even though the vehicle was still making the same noise. Service bulletins from my understanding are sent out to prevent damage from occuring or causing more damage to a vehicle. I was given the impression that the bulletin was out the first time the vehicle was in. I have since found the service bulletin was date April 10th 2010, and it covers Pilots 2005-2009. I have 2 issues. If this has been a problem since 2005 covering Accord, Odyssey, pilots, and ridgelines as well as the other branch of the company Acura MDX and TL's. Why has honda not corrected this issue from the manufacturing side? #2 if a car comes in with today's computer technology why would it not be flagged to have ever Service bulletin angle checked out? I bought a honda for it's "reliability" and the better service I thought I would receive verses the crappy service I received from Dodge with my previous 2 vehicles. Please take this as constructive criticism. #1 Fix the problem at the plant, don't gamble with this and hope it goes away. I wonder if this had occured outside the 36,000 mile warranty if I would still be covered? What if it had a I took it to a shop outside the dealership? Would I pay out of pocket for it? And if so that's pretty cruddy when you know there are issues with the specifications of some of your engines!!! If I hadn't brought it cause I didn't recognize that there was a sound change or thought it was normal, how long before the timing belt would break due to the rubbing issues and major damage occured due to a broken timing belt - damaged Valves, pistons Etc. Due to Honda's "WE HOPE THAT WE CATCH IT AND SHIM IT BEFORE IT BREAKS INSTEAD OF FIXING THE PROBLEM BEFORE WE SELL THE VEHICLE - ATTITUDE!" #2 don't let something like this happen due to a description of rattling verses chirping especially when there is a common problem with this engine. Will have to see how this dealership handle another Service Bulletin for juddery seats I happen to be having go on right now. Took the vehicle in 3 times for the front seats and only on the 3rd time was it figured out. Oh now there is an official bulletitn out that says we can repair something that we know may break. Do the job right or don't do it at all.I could by an american vehicle and get this same treatment for less money!!! Eric Zuick More
Pat Fogerty was a friendly, knowledgeable salesperson. He listened to our questions and concerns and was able to work out an acceptable trade-in/sale package. I hate buying cars...always feel like I am getting taken advantage of in some way. This was not too bad. People were friendly, not too pushy-- even with the extended warranty info...The wait to do the pap advantage of in some way. This was not too bad. From Craigslist to Carfax to reading rave reviews about Kuni-Honda, Rick printed the used Accord list "hot of the presses", "2009's with low mlg. don't last long"... Right he was! I liked that I was introd Kuni-Honda, Rick printed the used Accord list "hot of the presses", "2009's with low mlg. don't last long"... Right he was! I liked that I was introduced to the professionals that offered their services...They would be there to answer directly to me smoothing out any and all of my Kuni interactions. Mr. McLaren got my trust in under eight minutes and I still feel like all of my decisions were competent ones. (and I saved money buying within my car-sales, things which I would have spent much more purchasing retail!) The ride around the block turned into a true auto test for the Honda's suspension and handling. Rick understood that 'yes, there are mountains nearby' and did not hesitate to tell me of the Accords fortitude. Larry Miller VW Kia of Lakewood can learn a lot from you all! Thank you for your hard work..I had the easy part choosing a car I have the honor of driving my family around in. More
David was great and very helpful with our purchase and getting us the car we wanted. He let us take the car out for a long test drive and wasn't pushing the car the whole time. I just wish they didn't getting us the car we wanted. He let us take the car out for a long test drive and wasn't pushing the car the whole time. I just wish they didn't try to push the insurance packages soo much, annoying! More
We had an appointment for 3:30 and we waited for less than 2 minutes and since Jessie was still with a client Rick took over showing us the cars we were interested in. He was very easygoing and no pres than 2 minutes and since Jessie was still with a client Rick took over showing us the cars we were interested in. He was very easygoing and no pressure at all. We decided on a CR-V and the purchase process was a breeze. My husband is a diabetic, and since we there longer than anticipated, the staff made sure he got some snacks to hold him over. Everyone was fabulous and we have referred Kuni-Honda to several of our friends and my husband's co-workers. Great job everyone!!!! More

My family and I showed up at our scheduled time to be told that someone else showed up unexpectedly and our sales associate would work with both of us at the same time. Our salesperson was very nice and took time to answer our questions but only showed up every once in awhile to give us keys to test drive cars. It was apparent after our first test drive that our salesperson was working with several people besides us at the same time and we had to wait long periods of time to get his attention. I know he was busy but it was a bit frustrating since we had an appointment. We struggled through and finely found a car that we were ready to purchase after about three hours. We negotiated a price and contract terms and were ready to sign the paperwork. This process took another three hours. Our salesperson would disappear and show up every once in awhile to say, “Just a little longer”. Thinking it would be soon we waited and waited. I am not sure why we had to wait so long it was after 8 pm at this time and no one was there besides us. Once we purchased the car we were excited about using all the different features and went a purchased a PC card adapter to use the in the PC card slot equipped on our brand new car. When we tried to close door on the navigation window it would not close when the card was in the slot. We had purchased some upgrades for the car so I asked the service person about the issue when I took my car in. When no one in the service department could figure out what the issue was I was told no one uses the PC sot any ways and if I wanted it fixed I needed o contact Honda directly and try to work it out myself. Feeling that I was not treated fairly considering this was a brand new car I left several voice mails with various managers including the general manager. It has been over two weeks and I still have not received a single call back and do not expect I ever will. I was however was able to get a hold of my salesperson who assured me that the service manager would be calling me back that day. Several days went by and I did not receive a call. I then left a message with my salesperson letting him know the situation. I was then able to get an appointment with the service manager. The service manager got involved and told me after researching it that I had the wrong brand name of PC card adapter even though it was the right type as specified in the user manual. I would have liked to know that before I spent the money on a new one that I cannot return. Also, when I purchased the car, I was told it would be 45 days before my first payment was due. I can tell you that not only did they take my first payment up front hidden in the paperwork I also received my first bill right away for the next payment due. The last straw for me was days after I purchased my car, Kuni kindly sent me sales email now that I am on their email list letting me know that I could now purchase the same car for a considerable amount less than I did. Thanks Kuni. More

I went in expecting to get a used vehicle. Paul and the rest of the staff at Honda worked hard to get me into a brand new vehicle at a great price!
