We have recently bought a new Honda Insight from Kuni Honda on Arapahoe. The salesman (Jim Getson) was extremely helpful! Although the salesman we worked with was good and friendly - it took us 4 1/2 hours to complete the transaction which is really too long. It was such a pleasure to be working with Brian. He really took his time with me and I did not feel rushed, even though I ended up being at the dealership past closing time and he had been at work sinc really took his time with me and I did not feel rushed, even though I ended up being at the dealership past closing time and he had been at work since early that morning. He really seemed to be a genuine person who showed me his real personality and gave me some good opinions and ideas; he did not fit into the stereotypes of car salesmen. This is my first time buying a car, and he was patient and explained things so that I could understand them, and I did not feel like I was getting lost in a bunch of slick sales lingo. The cars were fantastic - I was looking at the certified used cars, and they were very impressive. Unfortunately, due to logistical reasons, I did not purchase a car today. Because of this, most of my opinion is based on the salesperson, the cars, and the general look/feel of the dealership; I cannot have a fair opinion on the sales/financing part of the deal. From my experience, the person (James) with whom I would have spoken with about specific pricing/packages was not nearly as personable as I would have liked. I experienced him as impatient and inflexible, and he was not someone that I would like to ever see again. I hope that on the day that I actually can purchase a car that I will not have to deal with this individual and that the person I DO work with on the financing will be more respectful towards me as a person. I have every intention to return to this dealership next month after I return to the area from the east coast, and I hope that I get to work with Brian again at that time! More
