Dear itmac, Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to address your concerns. As we discussed, you purchased an 11 year old vehicle with 147k miles, “As Is with No Warranty.” We understand there are risks when buying pre owned cars and, we car very transparent to make sure you as the consumer, are aware of those same risks. The most transparent being, showing you the Car Fax, AutoCheck report and, what we have done in any reconditioning of said vehicle. Equally important, we offer an extended warranty on all vehicles that qualify for an extended warranty and then, you as the purchaser sign numerous documents stating you are agreeing to move forward with the sales process. We can appreciate that you as the owner of the vehicle elected to have service work done even if, with another service provider however, bringing that bill to us to pay and our declining just makes sense to us. My follow up review after 5 months buying a car from Kuni Honda: Since I paid for that extra warranty that includes a quarterly car detail service, today I went to Kuni Honda to schedule. Guess what? I am told by the customer service representative to wait for 4 more months to get a quarterly service. What a joke! The next opening for the car detail the dealer has is December 15, 2015, I am thinking I'll find out more when I schedule the other services in the near future. Buyers, think twice before you buy extended warranty service. I am paying the price for it.
