I just had to best experience with the service team here at Steve’s Hometown Chevrolet, specifically Matt, Jeff and Steve! We are traveling across country from Florida to Washington state and my 2021 Silver at Steve’s Hometown Chevrolet, specifically Matt, Jeff and Steve! We are traveling across country from Florida to Washington state and my 2021 Silverado 1500 diesel suddenly went into reduced power on the highway. We called Kendall Chevrolet first as they were closer to us. We advised that we just needed to find out what the code was for the check engine light to determine out next direction. We explained we were in a bit of a dire situation with 3 kids in the car and 200 miles between us and home. The lady at Kendall Chevrolet was incredibly rude and advised us that they couldn’t help us for a month and when we continued to try to explain that all we needed was the code pulled and that we were not local, she just got worse. Finally, she said that she “might” be able to have a tech run a code. I tried to ask for a guarantee that someone could help us because we didn’t want to drive backwards 12 miles on the highway in limp mode and she refused to confirm. Thankfully, we found our way to Steve’s Hometown Chevrolet. These guys are doing things right! They were more than happy to help us pull the code, had a tech come off lunch and get us back on the road. Customer Service and first impressions make a big difference!! Thanks guys! More

Thanks goodness for Home Town GMC. On our way to Texas our GMC pickup transmission went out.. Henry in parts was quick to find a new transmission. Next Jeff in service arranged to have the transmission our GMC pickup transmission went out.. Henry in parts was quick to find a new transmission. Next Jeff in service arranged to have the transmission put in and Erick the service manager got us in the next day. So thankful for the staff at Home Town GMC for getting us on the road again. More

Worst experience ever in dealing with buying a used vehicle We made a "verbal" deal with the salesman two days ago - on the price, would pay cash, no trade. We called this morning to make sure the pickup was t We made a "verbal" deal with the salesman two days ago - on the price, would pay cash, no trade. We called this morning to make sure the pickup was there, and the salesmen (talked to two different guys today) changed the price on it, as well as changed the terms of the deal to where our daughter HAD to finance with them for 6 months (at a fairly high interest rate) or they would tack on $1,000 more to the price we agreed upon. They knew we had a 3-hour drive to get to them, and they kept putting us on hold while they "talked" about it until finally our daughter decided it wasn't worth the hassle of working with a shifty dealership. Very sad for our daughter who has saved up money for what should have been a fun experience. Nice thing is -- there's lots of used pickups out there and she can keep the cash in her pocket until the right dealer comes along. More
