I purchased a used vehicle from Honda Cars of Rockwall and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing from the beginning. Shortly after arriving home with the vehicle, I noticed that the daytime and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing from the beginning. Shortly after arriving home with the vehicle, I noticed that the daytime running lights had been turned off. After turning them on, I discovered that the passenger-side light was not functioning. Since I was already scheduled to return the vehicle for hail damage repairs, I planned to address the issue during that visit and request that the light be repaired as well. When I returned to the dealership, I informed the salesperson about the malfunctioning light. He consulted with his manager and later informed me that the dealership was unwilling to repair it. Despite my concerns, I left the vehicle for the scheduled hail damage repairs. I was told the repairs would be completed within three days. On the fourth day, I contacted the dealership to check on the status of my vehicle. I was unable to reach anyone directly and left multiple voicemails and text messages before finally receiving a return call approximately three hours later. During that conversation, I was informed that the hail damage repairs had been completed, but that the vehicle was still awaiting additional repairs. When I asked whether he was referring to the daytime running light, he stated that there was no record of any light repair request. I informed him that I was already on my way to pick up the vehicle. While traveling to the dealership, I received a call from the service manager stating that the vehicle was ready for pickup. After leaving the dealership, I immediately noticed a significant rattling noise that had not been present before the vehicle was serviced. While driving home, I investigated the source of the noise and eventually traced it to the base of the rearview mirror. Upon closer inspection, it appeared that the cover had been broken and simply placed back into position, with the broken piece left inside, causing the rattling sound. Based on the earlier conversation regarding "additional repairs," I believe this may have been the issue referenced by the service department. However, at no point was I informed that any damage had occurred or that a repair was needed. The lack of communication was particularly frustrating. Between the dealership's refusal to address the defective light, the difficulty I experienced obtaining updates on my vehicle, and the apparent damage caused during service that was never disclosed, I was left extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. After having a definite issue with my service call, and giving the service department a 1 star, I just wanted to say that Service Manager Chad Molock contacted me almost immediately. All I can say about Honda Rockwall is they do not honor anything they tell you even up to a hour and a half of possibly buying a car and now the car is no longer available. Called about a Mazda on their site that was listed at a low price. They told me it had frame damage and wouldn't sell it, but would sell me something more expensive. I get that its hard to manage their inventory sometimes but would be cool if they didn't already have prices listed on cars they weren't gonna sell. Called back a week later about a scion, was told they'd work on a deal. Called back after not hearing anything to be told it was sold last week, but still on site lol. Starting to wonder if any of their cars are actually in their inventory or if their all just bait and switch scams. More
Took my car in for an oil change and didn't thoroughly inspect my vehicle before leaving because I thought this was a trustworthy place only to discover a chunk missing off my hood and them refusing to ho inspect my vehicle before leaving because I thought this was a trustworthy place only to discover a chunk missing off my hood and them refusing to hold themselves accountable for the damage to my vehicle. Would NOT recommend this place and I won't be back. Apparently they've done this to other people as well, damaging their cars and not doing anything about it, based on other reviews on Google maps.
