I even saw our sales rep Evy who took the time to come over and speak to us even though it had been a year since we saw her last. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. More
The service was very fast, and friendly. My wife and I didn't even get a chance to finish our breakfast sandwiches. The service lady, explained what they did. When I brought my car to Honda North Denis came out to greet me and asked what I wanted to be serviced on my car. He said it would be about a hour and a half. Went in for routine oil change on a Sunday (a Sunday! What other shop is open on Sunday?) I was in and out in 15 minutes. The car had received a complimentary wash which was badly needed, and to my surprise and delight, when Susan presented the invoice, the entire oil change was "no charge" because we'd recently had major service done there. Popular wisdom holds that dealerships are "ripoffs" for service but that has not been my experience at Honda North. They have programs such as the 'free oil change' from time to time that keep me coming back. More
I brought my car in for the express service, was greeted immediately, estimated a 20 minute wait, an accurate estimate, although I did not wait for the car. We had made an appointment for 9 amand were told it would take about an hour and a half. It wasn't ready until after 4 pm. Don't get me wrong - we love Honda North and have had wonderful experiences so far but please be honest as to how long something will take! It was the weekend before Christmas and like everyone else had many things to do that day including getting ready to attend an event that night - had we known it would take all day we would have been able to plan accordingly. Made a 9am appointment. Waited over 10 minutes before anyone helped me. Did not recieve a word about my car until almost 10:30. At that point I was informed it would be at least another hour for the wor anyone helped me. Did not recieve a word about my car until almost 10:30. At that point I was informed it would be at least another hour for the work to get done. Why was the problem not diagnosed within a half hour of my visit? The problem I had was a cracked dipstick. The only place I've ever had my oil changed was Homda North. How did it get cracked? I've never touched it in the 5 years I've owned the car (bought new at Honda North). At the end of the day, I had to pay 2 hours labor for them to get the dipstick out (it was stuck). They gave me the part for free, but I can't believe I sat there for almost 90 minutes to find out they needed more time (and then had to pay for that time). More
