We called Honda Barn to schedule a vehicle inspection after registering them and got a quick reply to our message and an appointment the next day. Joe the service advisor was very personable and took the time to review the results of the inspection and answer any questions. We have owned Honda’s since 1984, having done business with a family owned dealer in Newport, RI since then. Honda Barn is very similar to our previous dealer and we are confident Honda Barn will meet and exceed our expectations going forward. I wound up purchasing a new Ridgeline while my Honda Pilot was being inspected. Shawn Cass the sales consultant I worked with was knowledgeable without being pushy or high pressure. We settled on a fair price for the new vehicle and a fair trade in value on my Pilot. Although I was offered the option of taking delivery that day, my schedule prevented it and I did pick up my new Ridgeline two days later. The vehicle was ready on time and Shawn took the time to explain the nuances of the vehicle upon delivery. Overall outstanding experience in service and sales from Honda Barn. We look forward to continuing our almost 40 years of great Honda experience with Honda Barn as our dealer. More

Tim Raymond was great. Worked with us to get us what we needed in our price range. We got more vehicle than we thought we could get in our price range. The last few purchases left a bad taste in my mouth though......there seemed to be zero appreciation for my loyalty to them. So I gave Honda Barn a try and ended up working with Shawn Cass. He was great to work with from the get go.........available, followed up, but wasn't pushy. And he didn't play the "typical" games that can make the car buying experience such a drag. Also, Xan Peterson made the paperwork process as smooth as I've seen. great team! I will definitely refer friends and family and will be back next time I need a car. More
As much as every dealer claims they’ve improved the buying process, it’s the same as it ever was. They’re still out to screw you out of your trade. I went to this dealer looking to trade two Fords, one buying process, it’s the same as it ever was. They’re still out to screw you out of your trade. I went to this dealer looking to trade two Fords, one a high mileage Fusion Titanium that was headed for auction; the other an F150 with less than 100k miles that was pretty enough for any used car lot. They’re looking to get a smoking deal on your trade and can’t meet even reasonable numbers from KBB who they have banners for in the showroom. We agreed that if I got a “good deal” FROM them I would accept a “good deal” FOR them, in return, all based on mutual agreement on the KBB number. A two car deal, taking the oldest units they had on the lot, and they couldn’t meet my numbers. They got one lease out of me and I took my trades elsewhere. 5 1/2 HOURS to get to that point! Family and I had to leave to go to dinner to take a break. At dinner I called with other numbers and got pushed off to F&I who explained that they wouldn’t be able to deliver the car that night AND we would have to wait two days because he was off the next day!? After dinner took my trades to the Jeep dealer across the street and got a deal done in an hour total and drove home with the car. Wasn’t a “great deal” for me and took too long so I’m going with 3 stars, average. More
