Overall I had a good experience here looking for a Civic Type R. Originally I had worked with Eddy and he was very pleasant to work with and was not too pushy when he knew I was also looking at other cars a Type R. Originally I had worked with Eddy and he was very pleasant to work with and was not too pushy when he knew I was also looking at other cars and price shopping. About 2 weeks went by and I had found some better offers for Type Rs at other dealers. I contacted Hondabarn again because they had the Type R in red (my preferred color). At this point I was working with Bill because the coronavirus had made it so a lot of people work from home now. Strange times for sure. Bill helped me find a price that I thought worked well for me. However later in the day I was given a much better offer for a black Type R at another dealer and it made me reconsider. Overall, Bill and Ed are great salesmen, but this dealer is NOT competitive with type R prices. I know this is a special car, but you guys still were not budging on price, it took me a lot just to get 500 off. There's other dealers in NH who were offering me the same car (different color) 1500 less than Hondabarn's price. I ended up finding a new Type R for 2500 less than your guys best offer. I understand that you guys are a smaller car dealer but I'm a buyer and I'm looking for a good price (not MSRP minus 500 in the middle of coronavirus season). I thought that this dealership would have have a more competitive price for the Type R in this circumstance. Bill one thing to note, you told me back in 2017 when the CTR first came out and you sold them with dealer-mark up fees to people... I understand that you were trying to explain how special the car is, but by telling that to one of your potential customers (me) it really does not make me see the car any different, it made me think that you don't want to get the best deals for your customers. Unfortunately that was the case here. Bill and Ed were both friendly but not competitive in a pricing standpoint. More
