Started off wrong...ended well. Customer service rep (Jeff I think) was slightly rude...but Ethel came thru admirably well. Computer system quit and I was told oil change couldn't be completed because of computer failure. I asked if paper/pen documentation could be done until computers were fixed, so I wouldn't have to wait, and was told initially that written documentation was obsolete. 10 or so minutes later Ethel stated they could in fact do basic paper documentation, go ahead with the work and catch up on the computer work once it was up and running. Well glory be...by the time the oil change was done the computers were back up and running. In my occupation, our work is too important to be totally dependent on a computer's function to determine if we can meet client's needs or not. Suggestion: have paper documentation in reserve so clients won't have to wait for down computers. Jeff was slightly rude possibly because the computer crash put him in the awkward position of telling clients with appointments they'd have to wait, which would upset any employee. However, it was not my problem that the computer system crashed. I'll be back for future work but would highly recommend a back up system so that clients won't have to deal with stressed out customer service reps and unnecessary waiting. More

But over time I got sick of having the service writer try to up-sell me on services I didn't need. I didn't appreciate his pressure tactics or his surly attitude. So after awhile, I simply stopped going there. But I recently returned for some recall work and an oil change. It's a new crew and a completely remodeled service area. They got me in and out quickly and I was quite happy with the service. It's a better Honda Barn than I remember from the past. Well done. More
Not the brightest mechanics I Brought my 2008 Accord in for a tune up. 4 days prior to bringing it in I had all 4 tires replaced and balanced, I replaced the cabin air filter and I Brought my 2008 Accord in for a tune up. 4 days prior to bringing it in I had all 4 tires replaced and balanced, I replaced the cabin air filter and the engine air filter with K&N filters. I get a call from the mechanics that my tires are worn unevenly and both filters need to be replaced. I had to argue with the mechanic to tell him that all three of those things are simply impossible. The service staff was nice enough but I would never go back to Honda Barn for service because their mechanics either don't know what they're doing or are trying to sell even more repairs than needed. More
