Started off wrong...ended well. Customer service rep (Jeff I think) was slightly rude...but Ethel came thru admirably well. Computer system quit and I was told oil change couldn't be completed because of computer failure. I asked if paper/pen documentation could be done until computers were fixed, so I wouldn't have to wait, and was told initially that written documentation was obsolete. 10 or so minutes later Ethel stated they could in fact do basic paper documentation, go ahead with the work and catch up on the computer work once it was up and running. Well glory be...by the time the oil change was done the computers were back up and running. In my occupation, our work is too important to be totally dependent on a computer's function to determine if we can meet client's needs or not. Suggestion: have paper documentation in reserve so clients won't have to wait for down computers. Jeff was slightly rude possibly because the computer crash put him in the awkward position of telling clients with appointments they'd have to wait, which would upset any employee. However, it was not my problem that the computer system crashed. I'll be back for future work but would highly recommend a back up system so that clients won't have to deal with stressed out customer service reps and unnecessary waiting. More

But over time I got sick of having the service writer try to up-sell me on services I didn't need. I didn't appreciate his pressure tactics or his surly attitude. So after awhile, I simply stopped going there. But I recently returned for some recall work and an oil change. It's a new crew and a completely remodeled service area. They got me in and out quickly and I was quite happy with the service. It's a better Honda Barn than I remember from the past. Well done. More
Not the brightest mechanics I Brought my 2008 Accord in for a tune up. 4 days prior to bringing it in I had all 4 tires replaced and balanced, I replaced the cabin air filter and I Brought my 2008 Accord in for a tune up. 4 days prior to bringing it in I had all 4 tires replaced and balanced, I replaced the cabin air filter and the engine air filter with K&N filters. I get a call from the mechanics that my tires are worn unevenly and both filters need to be replaced. I had to argue with the mechanic to tell him that all three of those things are simply impossible. The service staff was nice enough but I would never go back to Honda Barn for service because their mechanics either don't know what they're doing or are trying to sell even more repairs than needed. More

I received a better trade-in value than what another dealership offered and I got the feeling that the Honda Barn wanted my business for the long-term versus just making money on one transaction. Eddie Neale was the salesperson that assisted me and I recommend him if you are looking for Honda and don't care for the malarkey some salespeople offer. More
Good service dept Brendan(and everyone) at the service desk is always so professional and friendly. One of the things that stands out to me is that during pickup they r Brendan(and everyone) at the service desk is always so professional and friendly. One of the things that stands out to me is that during pickup they retrieve your vehicle for your at pickup so that it is warm and running right next to the service door(Jeffrey did that for me at pickup since Brendan was on a call when I came to pickup). Also I generally reserve a loaner vehicle and Brendan(as always) pulls the loaner vehicle right up to the service entrance and walks me over to it and asks me if I have any questions before I am on my way. On this service I did a few different things. One of which was an alignment. I am not personally familiar with car repairs but I know enough to know that alignments on cars can be very touchy and easy to not get completely right. Anyways, I noticed that night that my Accord seemed to be pulling slightly to the right where it was not before. I confirmed that the next morning.(It's not road crown/angle). I mention this because although its not necessarily flattering to say I have to bring my car back to re-do the alignment, but what sets great customer service apart from the rest is how they react when something like this comes up. When I called back next morning to let them know about my concern with the alignment not being correct Brendan was completely professional and was happy to reserve another loaner for the day that worked for me to bring the car back. There were no defensive statements or anything. That is how service should be. Things happen and they are going to make it right. I highly recommend Honda Barn Service.(will update this review after my re-do alignment visit). *Update 1/12/17 It was confirmed that the alignment was in fact done correctly. They showed me the numbers. What was pulling my car to the right was a tire wear issue which I suspect is due to the fact that I let one of my tires run too low(low tire light indicator) for 4 week before my service. They cross rotated the two front tires which helped a lot but probably wont work itself out completely until I run them at proper pressure for a while. Lesson learned....wait for follow up visit to post a review! No mistakes made on their part with the original service! They are great More
