We were greeted by Ed Neilie who summarily took us out for a test drive in a new CR-V, which we loved but wanted in a different color. We were trading in a leased Murano Platinum with all the bells and whistles, but the CRV suited me very well and was fun to drive. With very little hassle we came to an agreement and closed the deal. I picked up my new car the next day, and it only took a few minutes to complete the paperwork with Sean. There were no "hard sell" tactics involved with either the sale or the potential service contract. Ed took me through all the particulars of the dashboard and workings of the vehicle so that I felt very comfortable driving out of the lot. First Oil Change for my 2016 Honda HRV I went for my complimentary oil change that Honda Barn offers when you buy a vehicle. I drove a bit out of my way from Arlington, MA. Because I live i I went for my complimentary oil change that Honda Barn offers when you buy a vehicle. I drove a bit out of my way from Arlington, MA. Because I live in MA I had to pay my register my car instead of the complimentary inspection the dealership offers. When I got there I asked if they would consider taking $35 off the cost of rotating my tires (that is what it cost to inspect my car in MA) - Honda Barn not only did that but instead of charging me the few dollars difference for the tire rotation they just gave it to me complimentary. I did not expect this at all and Honda Barn totally made my day! I have quite a few friends and family in NH and I would highly recommend if you're in the market for a Honda, go to Honda Barn! This also appears on a review for Facebook. On a side note: I think $39.99 for a tire rotation is expensive and it feels like "nickel and diming" the customer for an oil change. Other places offer the rotation for free with the purchase of an oil change. Even though I am thankful you did right by me and did the tire rotation for free I would not pay that in the future when I can go elsewhere for it to be included. I hope you take that into consideration. All it is it loosening some lug nuts and moving tires. I chatted with my sister after who works at a car dealership and she said they only charge her $10 to rotate her tires. It might go a long way to include it. Or have a punch card where every 6 oil change you get a rotation for free. More
