Fair Treatment on a Serious Problem Honda Barn was able to detect and fix the engine clacking noise in my 2009 Honda Accord. It ended up being a cam shaft that had prematurely warn out. Honda Barn was able to detect and fix the engine clacking noise in my 2009 Honda Accord. It ended up being a cam shaft that had prematurely warn out. I call it a factory defect and searching on line confirmed that others have experienced the same problem with the V6 engine. Honda Barn won the battle with the Honda Extended Waranty folks who initially declined the claim. Although my final bill was $284.16 that included an oil change and rear bank valve adjustment, I was happy that Honda Barn stood up for me with Honda and fixed the problem. More
