Rude customer service I called on Monday the 28th and scheduled an appointment to have 2 keys made. the car was going to the body shop the following am. I explained to the receptionist that the drivers door did not open and you would have to go in from the passenger side. She said " so it wont unlock ". No I said the door wont open. She replied " ok, kinda weird". I left , the keys were made promptly which I appreciated. I received a call later that afternoon from the same woman stating that the keys were done.. She then proceeded to lecture me for 5 minutes on unsafe the car was because the door wouldn't open. I again explained to her that it was going into the body shop and that's why we needed the keys made. She continued on how if I was pulled over etc etc. I thanked the woman for letting me know the keys were done and I would be in later. Explained that I don't need a lecture for paying you guys 147 for two keys made. My fiancée has bought numerous cars there and recommended you guys. After going to them for the first time, I would never go back. More
Always a good experience They try to keep costs as low as possible and they don't try to sell me services I don't want or need (unlike other places I have experienced before). Dissappointed We were 2 1/2 hours from home when my 2009 Honda Odyssey started bucking and the check engine light started flashing. I knew there was a service warra We were 2 1/2 hours from home when my 2009 Honda Odyssey started bucking and the check engine light started flashing. I knew there was a service warranty on my vehicle for piston rings, so I called the service department at Honda Barn since we were closest to them and informed Jeff of my issue. In talking with him on the phone, he didn't seem too concerned with my issue-told me I could bring it in if I wanted-and I hung up feeling more like I was bothering him than welcome to bring it down. Since we were stuck-I had to bring it in. When I got to the dealer, we walked in the front door and because there was a lot of construction, we couldn't find the service department. A sales rep walked right past us-didn't say hi, but finally turned around and asked if we needed help when he could see were lost. He did kindly direct us to the right place. Upon getting to the counter, Jeff didn't say hello or "I'm glad you brought it in". He looked at me and instead simply said, "I need your registration." It wasn't the warmest of greetings! He typed in our information and even took photocopies of the paperwork I brought from my Honda service department in VT, and said that he would try to get the vehicle looked at Monday morning. This was at 12:30 on a Saturday. And, again, we were 2 1/2 hours away from home. We asked if he had a rental and he said the rental agency was closed. Needless to say we were a little nervous-here in town with two toddlers and a 9 year old for Christmas. We asked if there was something they could do-some vehicle to loan us- and he was very unsympathetic in saying no and that his hands were tied. He didn't even pretend to try something. Thankfully we had a family member lend us their car to leave the dealer, but we didn't have a vehicle to ride in or get back home to Vermont. I don't know what I was expecting, but I at least was expecting to be treated like we were a priority and that Jeff cared about our issue. Instead it felt like we were a nuisance. Not the feeling we want when we are at their mercy without a vehicle 2 1/2 hours from home! We won't go back if we are in the area again. More
