Vehicles are more dependable and "maintenance-free" than ever, but some maintenance and repairs can be costly. That's why we try to let our customer's know ahead of time what they can expect coming up, with the free multi-point inspection we routinely perform when vehicles are in for service. Dear Pkinner, I am sorry to learn of your disappointment but glad you were able to get the correction for free. Brakes wear differently on all vehicles with all drivers. It does not appear that you put a lot of miles on your vehicle and typically that means more short trips which require more application of the brakes. Depending on how the car is driven and stored has more to do with brake wear and failure than mileage.
