First Oil Change I had a wonderful buying experience with Honda Barn in the fall and last night I brought my car in for its first oil change. The waiting area was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating and Ethel and the staff made every effort to service my car ass fast as possible. I've already recommended them after my easy, no pressure buying experience and I'll continue do so after an equally lovely service experience. Thank you, Honda Barn! More

Air Bag Recall repair Dropped off the car the night before, used the new clean, heated, lighted night time drop off room that has a counter, drop off envelopes, pens and ev Dropped off the car the night before, used the new clean, heated, lighted night time drop off room that has a counter, drop off envelopes, pens and everything needed to fill out and complete the drop off form. Very nice. Dealership called me by 2pm the next day to say all work was done and the car was all set for pick-up. I arrived to a clean and updated service center, vehicle work area had newly finished clean floors and customer friendly indoor, drive in drop off service. I have never seen anything this nice at any other dealership before. I was very impressed and was happy with the service performed and the friendly service. More

Exceptional service Brendan waved me right into a car bay, even though I was early. We went over all the service required and I was picked up. Brendan called twice while I was outside the dealership - once to let me know about a brake problem, and then to let me know the car was done. It was the best service I've had in a long time. Awful customer service and issue not resolved our audio system locked because our battery died and it was disconnected to clean the connections before jump starting it. Apparently it's some anti t our audio system locked because our battery died and it was disconnected to clean the connections before jump starting it. Apparently it's some anti theft thing and it was asking for a code. Well we bought it used at 3 years old and didn't have an audio code or serial number. I brought it in a few weeks ago to see if they could reset it and they tried everything and couldn't they said I had to come back and they would have to remove my radio in order to get the S/N $$$$. I did some googling and realized there was a service bulletin to upgrade the software because this was an issue. I called back Honda Barn, and spoke to Kevin who said he had the disks, but it would cost me $75 for labor to perform the update and that I should check with my original dealer and see if they would pay the cost. While reading through the service bulletin, it states that this is performed for free to the customer (just like recalls). So I called American Honda and they went through the bulletin, and said the same thing, and actually told me to go to a different Honda because they should not be charging me. I wanted to give them another chance, so I called and explained that it is free of charge. So I got an appointment for a week out (earliest one they had) and was there for about 1.5 hrs with my 2 year old. Kevin said it was all set, but that there was a disk error so it must be the DVD that was in there. So I checked, tried multiple DVD's and went back in and said that it wasn't working. His reply was that he was at least happy the radio was working (apparently these people do not have 3 kids under the age of 8). He was super passive aggressive. I explained that on the service bulletin it explains you have to update the audio then the DVD player (I should not have to be finding the issue then explaining how to perform the job) He just brushed me off and said he couldn't do anything about it because they were closing. So I called the following morning at 8:30 and when I spoke to him and said who it was he replied with a "ya" so I had to ask about the issue and he said he hadn't had a chance to speak with the tech and that he would call me back. Well I called the service manager at 10 and they are still trying to figure it out. I followed the directions on the bulletin (shocking how easy it is) and my software version is 1.99 and it's supposed to be 5.29 so obviously it needs the upgrade which it tells you right in the directions. I just feel like because this isn't an $800 brake job they keep giving me the run around. I seriously just need the Update CD and I can do it in the parking lot myself the instructions are not rocket science. We leave Thursday night and honestly I didn't buy a minivan because of its status symbol. I bought it because we do lots of road trips, and with 3 kids a DVD player is essential! More

Once they had my vehicle, Ethel discovered that one of the fluid changes had been done just a year ago so they called and said they weren't going to change that fluid. They could have easily done it again and charged me for it, but they did not. Great service for a fair price! More

I purchased my car at Honda Barn and had a prior recall that required extensive work and that experience was a poor one. I had decided then that I would not utilize this dealership in the future, but decided to try again, since it's so convenient. In my opinion, their customer service is seriously lacking. Although I did have a positive experience on the sales side, but it's highly unlikely that I will patronize this business in the future. More
