Mr, Matteo was very accommodating and resourceful in resolving an issue I had with my radiator. It took a few day to resolve, but he kept me aware of the status of my order. No on could have treated me better or worked harder to bring about a positive outcome. The entire night shift team there at Motorcars-Cleveland Heights are the best. Also kudos go out to Marty and Mike as they all worked together as a team and conferred with one another to get the matter resloved. It was gratifying to experience their eforts to help. We thought we wanted a Element, but without Marcus' sales acumen, we wouldn't have realized that it was the Accord that fit our requirements much better. He was patient, knowledgeable and could answer any questions we had. I've written this to you before, but my "Motorcars" experience has turned my opinion of car dealerships around 180 degrees! Because I was treated so well during the purchase, I've continued to service my car there even though we live pretty far away. Thank you Marcus!!! We love you Motorcars! I tell everyone about you. Now for the service part of this kudo. My Accord is a 2004 and somewhere around 2008, the radio simply stopped working one day. We were told the repair was under warranty and quickly brought it in. The radio worked fine afterwards, BUT, the Auto temp control stopped working. We'd never had any problems with that part before and as I work 9-5, and far away to boot, and being able to heat the car without using the Auto button, I tried a few times by telephone to resolve the suspicion I had that something had gone wrong with the Auto when they pulled out the radio (they are very near each other). Try as I might, I never did get that promised call back from each tech I spoke to with some kind of a resolution. This went on for two years. Last month we were up for a large service and it seemed like a good time to settle the matter once and for all. I am a patient person but felt frustrated and had already decided to go somewhere else to service the car if I could't get any satisfaction this time. So I called and was told that my complaint would be routed to the Service Manager (yada yada). However, probably thanks to Georgiann, I DID receive a call back from Elmer the next day and we had a long conversation. Both Georgiann and Elmer are to be commended for taking the reponsibility onto themselves to finally resolve this situation in an honest and professional way. Georgiann calmed me down in her wonderful soothing manner, and Elmer actually "heard" my whole story, researched it further himself, and instead of placating me with silly suggestions, actually did something about it. He scheduled a special check of the problem, my husband brought the car in and during the service, when all the parts were exposed, someone noticed that two wires weren't connected. That must have been the problem ALL ALONG because they connected the wires and THE AUTO WORKS for the first time in 2 years! If it were not for Elmer's honesty and his focus on treating customers with respect and intelligence, this repair might not have happened the way it should have, with absolutely no pain to my pocket book. And you can be sure that I am now a happy Motorcars customer once again and glad to be back in the family. See you all next oil change! Thanks so much for keeping my faith in you strong!!! Nancy W. I purchased my 2008 Honda Civic from Motorcars Honda in Mayfield Heights and have always had excellent service at the service department. I was recently involved in a major automobile accident on the freeway and had auto body work done on my car at Motorcars Auto Body. Although I was not happy with my service at the auto body shop (who is NOT affiliated with the dealership), I have NEVER had a problem at the service department at the dealership. In fact, the service department at the dealership, especially Andre Di Matteo, has been very kind and generous. They have helped identify and fix problems that I have had at the auto body shop. They have also been able to answer all my questions and schedule me for convenient appointments. I would recommend the service department at the dealership to everyone in the greater Cleveland area! My 2010 Honda Civic that I lease from Motorcars had a flat tire in our garage. Andrew Chiarelli was nice enough to come to our house and take off the flat tire, after I had mentioned my bad back prevente flat tire in our garage. He then took the tire to the dealership the next day, had it repaired and came over that evening to put the repaired tire back on the car, all at no charge. It was above and beyond the call of duty, without question. It is why my wife and I will always deal with Andrew when it comes to our automobiles. More
