As you read through this, keep in mind that I drive the car for Lyft, so it's an income generator. Day 1- Took my passport in for a computer related recall repair at 11am. Quoted as 2 hour fix. Day 2 - car for Lyft, so it's an income generator. Day 1- Took my passport in for a computer related recall repair at 11am. Quoted as 2 hour fix. Day 2 - No word from dealership. Get a customer rep on phone. The recall repair won't be don't until day 3. Day 3- Pick up car. No acknowledgement of extended repair time or offer to improve my experience Day 4- Computer goes haywire and car runs poorly. (Car ran perfectly prior to initial visit). Take back to dealership. Repairs will be done by noon next day. Day 5- Noon next day comes and goes. I get a customer repo on the phone. The code reader is saying something is wrong with fuel pump. It's a separate issue from the recall (their words, not mine), and that the part needs to be ordered. Repairs will be done by Friday (I'm laughing at their estimates at this point). This xxxxshow will cost me over $1k in lost Lyft wages. No offer for a loaner. The customer service nice but no helpful at all. It's obvious they are only interested in getting you off of the phone and not fixing the situation. TL;DR Honda screwed up. Honda of Downtown Los Angeles screwed up. I got screwed by both. More

My LA Honda service department let me down on my last visit. They gave me a free oil change but made me feel like I wasn’t a loyal customer.
