Dishonest, Unorganized or Perhaps Both In fairness everything was good until 3 days after taking delivery and enjoying my new car I get a frantic voicemail and email stating they were havin In fairness everything was good until 3 days after taking delivery and enjoying my new car I get a frantic voicemail and email stating they were having issues getting in touch with me and the price they "Honored" when I was in their showroom was a mistake and I need to give them $1300 or my new Car Back. This is really Strange as the day before I got a call from the sales person asking if I was enjoying my car and it I had questions to give him a call so getting in touch with me was not that hard for him. Back Story- I did start with the USAA auto program (True Car) and got a price after I test drove and told the sales person if the Costco price was better than that is what I want. Later that morning I got an email from one of the internet sales people with a price. This price does not include Accessories and is very misleading BTW. This information is known by them and is a way to get you back so they can add an extra $1000 to your cost. Thinking I have the Costco price my wife and I show up to buy my car. We start the process and get through most of the paper work and I notice the price does not match my email even with the $1000 accessory add. I show my email to the sales person, he takes it to his sales manager they "HONOR IT" and after I ask I am told I still get 15% off for accessories and is still inside the Costco program so is get some added benefits. This comes up again with the finance manager as they put the old figure not the "Honored" price in our paper work. He Calls the sales manager the sales manager verifies the "Honored" price he completes paper work and we thought we were done. The "Honored" price was all a Lie, an Exercise in Extreme Incompetence or Both. To add to this when I spoke with the Sales Manager he acted like I somehow Cheated them out of the proper price and acted like I manipulated the system. This could have been settled easily in several ways and would have started with a professional and courteous conversation not treating me like I was a shoplifter. I will be contacting Costco, USAA and Honda of America with my concern and will be letting everyone I know about this poor experience. All I can say is most people have poor views of car dealerships and the buying experience is not enjoyable at all and this experience is part of the reason why. More
