Very very good experience My contact was basically Dani. From the time of setting up the appointment to having a shuttle ready to take me home to having my car serviced in the My contact was basically Dani. When I picked up the car it was washed and vacuumed very nicely. That whole process was great. I only have two small critiques. When I went to pay the bill, the person behind the counter processing the bill was distracted and disorganized. I also had to request for the overall maintenance checklist that was not attached to my bill and repair breakdown and when I got home I noticed that the Castrol coupon that is also normally attached to the bill was not included. Did Castrol discontinue the rebate program? The second critique is that I didn’t have the mileage oil change reminder sticker in the upper window that is usually placed there after an oil change. I was pleased with the service. I took my car in for airbag recall service; this was the second of two airbag recalls. The technician, Jeff Parks, was helpful and patient. The replacement was done promptly and, so far as I can judge, correctly. I also asked about another concern with my tire pressure monitoring system. This matter was checked out and a repair recommendation made. I authorized the work and the problem was fixed without delay. Questions about my battery charging system were answered after a diagnostic review. The answers and advice were both especially appreciated in light of my limited familiarity with the technology involved. On balance I was happy with the service visit and will cheerfully return as needed. More
Warren was great tech was below average. Warren was inviting, professional, and friendly. 3rd trip to Honda Fife and 2 of the 3 issues are still unresolved. Last year we noticed a leak in the A pillar on the driver side. Tech at that time said he was unable to re-create the leak and said he visually inspected the molding and ensured it was on properly. This time we went back to get a few things done. P/s front window would not move up and down. This was fixed. P/s sliding door is catching sometimes. I was told this was fixed by greasing and checking the "rollers". I tested before leaving the lot and it seemed to work. On the drive home I noticed there was excessive wind noise coming from the driver door. I got home and discovered when the window is rolled up, the molding was being squeezed into the path of the glass which prevented it from getting a proper seal. I drove back to Honda Fife and they said they would order the part and it would be in the next day. That evening we were driving the van and the p/s sliding door started to get stuck again. This is frustrating. Not to worry....I have to go back to Honda anyways for the driver window. I mentioned it to the service advisor and he had the tech inspect again. Meanwhile I am in the waiting room researching the issue online. Apparently the sliding door issue is a "common/known" issue for this year and model and most mentioned in the forum that the issue ended up being the actuator. I then get called in by the service advisor who mentioned the tech tested and the door seems fine but it may be the actuator if so it would cost this and that. My first thought is....and I believe a fair question to ask.....if this is a known issue why did the tech not consider the actuator? Why take time to re-grease and change rollers only to charge me? Now I may need to go back to get the actuator replaced? I feel duped. Maybe there is a logical explanation but to be frank, this is how I feel. I didnt push the issue. I started to drive home (30 minute drive). I come here because the service advisors are so friendly. On the way home, frustrated and confused, I feel a drop of water fall onto my left leg. From the same A pillar that was supposedly fixed and was my 3rd visit to the dealership to discuss. I am at a loss for words. This was earlier today so this may sound terse. Warren was great. I could not expect anymore from him but the tech......I am losing confidence in their expertise. More
