He is exceptional, you have to ask for him and I guarantee that your sales experience will be enjoyable. Even after my purchase, I have random questions and I contact him and he gets back to me so quickly and is always there to assist no matter what. Even though some of the questions are not in his area (like finance or service). He still finds the answers for me and gets back to me! I took my family to College Park Honda on April 16th to test drive a pre-owned Honda Pilot and negotiate a purchase of the Pilot with a trade-in of my car. After the salesman, Eddie, offered a low amount test drive a pre-owned Honda Pilot and negotiate a purchase of the Pilot with a trade-in of my car. After the salesman, Eddie, offered a low amount for my car, we left the dealership. Thereafter, in successive voicemail messages, Eddie and his internet sales manager, Reagan Harrison, increased the offer to a final amount of $20,000. The next day, Sunday, I called both Eddie and the dealership and agreed to come in on Monday to purchase the car. On Monday morning, I again called the dealership, and confirmed with Reagan that the offer of $20,000 for my car was acceptable and that I would come in after work at 6:00pm that day to purchase the Pilot. Reagan stated that the Pilot would be “all cleaned up and ready to go” for me. I made plans to leave work early and drive the hour to the car lot in rush hour traffic. On April 18th, I left work in DC to drive to College Park. At 5:30pm, en route to the dealership, a different manager called me to verify that I was coming in, and stated that two other people were interested in the Pilot. I confirmed that I was en route. Upon arrival shortly after 6:00pm, I learned that neither Eddie nor Reagan were present. I was directed to a salesman, and I explained that I was there to purchase the Pilot and had already agreed upon the trade-in amount with the internet sales manager. After several minutes, the salesman’s “boss” came over holding a stack of stapled documents with “$20,000 Trade In” written and circled on the top sheet. He stated that although my “request” had been for $20,000 they were offering about a thousand less. After I explained that I never requested any amount, but had accepted Reagan’s $20,000 offer, he returned to his office for several minutes. When he returned, he informed me that no one had ever told me they would pay $20,000. I explained that I had specifically verified that with Reagan before making the appointment, and that I would not have driven there otherwise. I asked him to call Reagan and that I would also do so. He said he would call Reagan and again returned to his office. I called and left a message on Reagan’s voicemail and waited for 15 minutes, watching another couple conducting a transaction. My new salesman then came over and told me that I should “make a better offer to [his] boss” or they will sell the Pilot to someone else “to make more money on it.” At first I thought he was using a crude sales tactic. After a few minutes, however, I realized he was completely serious. I got up and asked a salesman and the manager if this was true, that they were selling the Pilot to someone else while I waited for a response about my trade-in. They informed me that they had sold the Pilot to the couple seated near me and there was nothing I could do. When I protested that I was told that we were waiting for Raegon to confirm the trade-in offer, the manager said he had not spoken to Raegon and was not going to. When I noted that I had already agreed to purchase the Pilot and had driven there in rush hour traffic to do so, I was simply dismissed. After a few moments of awkward silence and staring, I had no choice but to leave. I called Reagan and left another message, detailing what had transpired. Neither Reagan nor Eddie has returned my calls to explain or apologize. I need to stress that each interaction with the manager was filled with hostility and rudeness towards me. It is now obvious that he never intended to honor the deal with me, but rather wanted me to leave so that he could sell the Pilot to the couple and make more money on that deal. In the process, I was blatantly lied to, was accused of fabricating the offer from Reagan, and was kept waiting under false pretenses while the Pilot was secretly sold to someone else. More
If I could give it no star, I would. When you think of sleazy, lying car salesperson, think College Park Honda. While we were in the process of deciding where to purchase a new Civic, we emailed some 14 sleazy, lying car salesperson, think College Park Honda. While we were in the process of deciding where to purchase a new Civic, we emailed some 14 dealers within the state of Maryland. College Park Honda (Harold) would not give us a price at all. He keep telling us that they would beat/match whatever best price we get no matter what. All we had to do was to bring that best out-the-door/on-the-road quote in and that would be it. Unfortunately, this was far from true. I very clearly stated in my email that I wanted an out-the-door price quote because I fully intended on paying in full with 'cash'. Due to this, I absolutely wanted to know the price before I walk in and yet, Harold would not give me a price quote at all even AFTER I sent him a pdf of the email from the other dealer. After I finally got him on the phone, he told me that his manager would not match the quote I have in-hand, which was fine. However, he then proceeded to tell me that I should STILL bring that quote in to the dealership so that we 'can' negotiate a HIGHER price. Does this make sense to anyone at all? I had a lower quoted OTD price, he couldn't match it and STILL tried to talk me into coming onto the lot to sell me a HIGHER price???? I KNEW this place was slimy right the start when it would not give me a quote. I guess that's how they do business, try to get you onto the lot and then they'll spring the typical sales tricks to up the price on you. Stay away. More

I had visited several dealerships in my search for an automobile and College Park Honda was by far the best. They should be a model for other dealerships. The others can take lessons from them. I will recommend College Park to everyone I know who is looking for a car (used or new). They are champs as far as I am concerned. Sincerely, Aasim A. Khan More

I thought for sure I would be lucky walking out with a used Honda but no, I walked out with a brand new Honda that fit right in with my budget and lifestyle. They worked with what I had and made it possible to have more than I thought and even imagined. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who made this possible. I am not afraid to admit that before I drove away in my new Honda I was so touched by the experience that I cried . . .Again, thank you. More

While I initially did not want a Honda, Civic Coupe, Mr. Minard was so helpful, persistent in helping me find a car that I am happy with, and so willing to please. I really love the way he worked out the s Minard was so helpful, persistent in helping me find a car that I am happy with, and so willing to please. I really love the way he worked out the sale that saved me $3000 on the car. The only thing I'm not too happy with is that I wanted my pay date to be April 15, 2011 instead of April 1, 2011. More
