I just purchased my Honda Insight from this dealership on 3/14, and I got a very reasonable price on it. The salesperson that helped me was very friendly. His name is Eric Wong. We were greeted quickly by Corey who is a caring and no-nonsense salesman who negotitated a great price for us and then introduced us to Ms. Plakas the Finance Manager who worked with the banks and got us a great low rate. While most dealerships try to confuse you with numbers and options, Miss Gina instead laid out all our options in front of us and reviewed all our numbers with or without the warranties. After a great consultation and careful consideration, my father and I chose Honda care warranty along with Dent/Ding, Tire and Wheel Protection, Security Coding, Nitrogenfill, and Simonize Glasscoat which included complimentary car washes for one year. I have already referred many of my friends to go see Miss Gina because this has truly been the most pleasurable car buying experience ever!! I love my new Honda and I used to be afraid of Finance Managers but after meeting Miss Gina I am no longer afraid. Thank you Corey and Gina for making me and my father feel like VIP guests are your dealership. In a few months, my little sister is graduating HS and we will be back to get another certified Honda from you guys and I know you will once again give us the best deal in town!!! More

This dealership has to be the worst dealership ever. Customer service is awful. I went here to purchase a used CRV, left a $7000 deposit. that may sound crazy, but I planned to put down then finance the Customer service is awful. It was late in the day on a sunday, they told me they'd have to call the financing in the following day. I planned to leave $500 then decided to leave the full $7000. Since I planned to purchase the car anyway. The finance person J. Bountempo never got back to me, nor did the sales person i delt with. I got in touch with the manager who assured me I'd be taken care of. I told them to just send me a check back refunding me the deposit. It's been weeks, now I believe Im going to have to take legal action. They're crooks trying to steal my hard earned money. They get ---5 stars and will be reported to the BBB and who ever else I can get help from. More

Purchased a 2012 CR-V EX-L with nav. Salesman Ino seemed knowledgable yet always had to "check with a manager" even after he gave me a price. I knew what I was willing to pay before I went to this dealership. The price was fair so I decided to purchase. I was told that the color I wanted was not on the lot but they could get one in a few days. A few days ened up being a week and a half. When I went to pick up the vehicle the ski rack was on the left side of the car . I asked if it could be moved to the right side. It was moved incorrectly. The locks were on the inside (middle) of the roof not the outside. The delivery person (don;t remember his name) was helpful in showing me the features of the car. The "business manager" Joseph Buontempo was terrible. I was shown an extended warrantee and a "service contract. Both looked expensive but fair. I specifically asked Mr. Buontempo if the service contract covered all of the manufacturers suggested maintenance items as well as oil changes. Mr. Buontempo told me it did other than expendables like tires filters and wipers. He also neglected to tell me the extended warrantee had a $100.00 deductible per occurrence. When I received the documents in the mail about three weeks after I picked up the car I found the $100.00 deductible and that the "service contract that I had specifically asked about ONLY covered oil changes. If you followed the factory recommended schedule of 5000 miles and you drive enough to do 70,000 in 6 yrs you would get 15 oil changes. The price for the "service contract" was $1000.00. That comes out to $66.00 per oil change. I called Manhasset Hondas service department and was told "all oil changes are $29.99" . I was told at a later time that the service department was "mistaken". Oil changes for the 2012 CR-V were $60.00 because of the synthetic oil used on the car.. Another "miscommunication". I received the contract information on a Friday and after researching the contracts by calling both the Manhasett Honda Service department and Hondas own customer service for the contracts I decided not to keep them. I called on Saturday and left messages for Mr. Buontemp. His voice mail said he was off on Sunday and Tuesday so when I did not receive a call back on Saturday I waited and called Monday morning . Again I left a message on Mr. Buontempo's voicemail. After two more calls on Monday I called another time and was told Mr. Buontempo was not in. I explained that i wished to come in and terminate the contracts. The receptionist said she would check with another finance person to see if someone could help me. She returned to the phone and told me I had to deal ONLY with the person that had done the paperwork whenI had picked up the car. I asked for the head finance manager and was told there was not a person in charge of that department. I then asked for the General manager and was told he was not in.I had developed a relationship with the internet sales person (Denise) and asked to speak to her and the RECEPTIONIST told me that Denise had nothing to do with the contracts and could not help me. I told the receptionist it was not her job to tell me who I could speak to. Denise said she would check on the problem and call me back. Within 5 minutes Gina Plakis (another business manager) called me back and told me that she would take care of the problem for me to come in that afternoon. Gina took care of terminating the contracts and told me I was misinformed that ONLY Mr Buontempo could terminate the contracts for me. Denice and Gina were the most professional people I dealt with at Manhasset Honda. If you know what you are interested in and know your prices you might wish to deal with Manhasset Honda but if your business manager is Mr. Buontempo RUN the other way. More

He is the only salesman I've ever met who was honest and forthcoming with regard to the price of the car and didn't play games.
