The price for the car and trade in were fair and the dealership matched another lower offer. The finance folks did their usual spiel to sell add-ons to the car. None of it was excessive and was generally appropriate. I did not get any sense that I was getting a runaround or ripped off at any point. At the end, even the clerk who reviewed the car with me was helpful and courteous. My previous purchase 5 years ago was an Acura and this was a far better experience. More

Price offered for 2010 Honda CRV EX L I was offered $13,650 which I told David was low. David claimed that it need two new tires and that it would required other things and they would not I was offered $13,650 which I told David was low. David claimed that it need two new tires and that it would required other things and they would not be making a lot on the car. I see it offered by Manhasset Honda at $20,900 so obviously I feel that I was ripped off because on top of that I purchased an new Honda CRV at a thousand dollars discount which is pretty standard. David is a good salesman but I would not deal with the dealership again nor would I recommend it to my many friends. I really feel RIPPED OFF. Bob Freeland More
Overpriced I went in to the dealer because a gas station told me I needed two new tires to pass inspection. I thought at the dealer where I purchased my car I'd I went in to the dealer because a gas station told me I needed two new tires to pass inspection. I thought at the dealer where I purchased my car I'd be taken care of. Two new tires should have cost me around $400. They call to tell me I need this fluid and that fluid - how do you say no? The car is only 3 yrs old and has about 35,000 miles on it. Well, $1,100 later, I was pretty shocked and disgusted. I feel like I was overcharged and while I told them to do what they said was needed, felt very taken advantage of. In November an oil change ended up at $800. Either they don't make great cars or they are taking us for a ride (no pun intended). I don't plan on going back there any time soon. More

Excellent experience. This is my third lease from Honda Manhasset. I dealt with Anas 3 years ago and it was a very positive experience back then. Naturally, when my lease This is my third lease from Honda Manhasset. I dealt with Anas 3 years ago and it was a very positive experience back then. Naturally, when my lease was up, I returned to Honda Manhasset. I visited the dealership on a Friday and looked for Anas. I already had the car in mind. It was a painless experience. I did not haggle and he took $1,342 off the sticker price. Anas was courteous and very professional and really knew the car I wanted. When Brian came, he gave me a flyer that advertised the extras, but never did he pressure me to get any extra but told me to think it over. When I came to pick up the car on Monday, I braced myself for the hard-sell tactics but they never came. Brian was very professional and straight forward. When I was about to sign the dotted line, Brian politely asked if I wanted to buy any of the extras but I respectfully declined and there was no pressure from him. I left the dealership with my new car very happy. See you in 3 years. I will definitely recommend this dealership. More

Neglect or Scam? Pick One! On January 18, 2014 I brought my car in for an oil change, which according to them, includes the multipoint inspection. (I am vigilant about my oil ch On January 18, 2014 I brought my car in for an oil change, which according to them, includes the multipoint inspection. (I am vigilant about my oil changes) Upon paying for the service I asked the technician if they checked the brakes and what condition they were in. The answer was that "they were fine" and showed me the Multipoint Vehicle Inspection Check List. There was not another word about my brakes after that so I left there feeling confident that everything was good. Fast forward to Saturday, March 15, 2014: I called Honda Manhasset Service and told them that the brakes, that they had recently inspected, were making an awful grinding sound and that I would like to come in. Their response was that if I brought it in I would have to leave it until Monday. I explained that I only own one car and it would not be practical unless they can give me a loaner. Of course, they don't do that! Sunday, March 16, 2014 I was able to bring the car to a different Honda Dealer with the same complaint. I explained that I had the car serviced not quite two months prior and was told the brakes were fine. Upon inspection, they informed me that I not only needed front brake pads, I now needed to replace the front rotors. This was documented on the receipt: "The left side front brake rotor was damaged due to metal to metal." Do you think if my "brakes were fine" that this should have happened in such a short time? So I ask...Neglect? OR Scam to get me back for rotors? BOTTOM LINE: NEVER, NEVER HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED AT MANHASSET HONDA! More
