I leased a Honda Fit from Honda Manhasset, made all the payments on time, kept the car in perfect condition and had it serviced exclusively at this dealership. I had informed them I would be returning the payments on time, kept the car in perfect condition and had it serviced exclusively at this dealership. I had informed them I would be returning the car today but when I called to confirm this the Sales Manager said he couldn't accept the car because he "had no room on the lot". He said that if I tried to leave the car at the dealership it would be towed away and I would liable for the charges! Furthermore, when I went to the dealership earlier to discuss my end of lease options (I was considering buying the car) I was told by the Finance Manager that to buy the car I would also have to buy an "extended warranty" for $1,900. When I protested he said this was company policy, which is totally absurd and possibly illegal (in my opinion). I have bought used cars from several dealerships and spoken to many and it is common knowledge and practice that a dealer will give the buyer a standard 90 day warranty on the car at no cost. In any case, between the two totally unhelpful and unfriendly managers I resolved never to have anything to do with this dealership again and also to alert potential customers of the kind of attitudes you can expect from the management. This is one of the worst dealer I had ever went to and will NEVER go there again. WE signed an deal and contract and they came to realized an error on there end and they will make you return the car after will NEVER go there again.
