I was at my wits end and decided that I would shop for one more weekend. My friend and I walked into Manhasset Honda at 7:30pm on a Friday night just on a whim to look. Brian Gunder greeted us as we were looking over a Honda CRV and from then on the customer service from Mr. Gunder was amazing. He was by far the most knowledgeable salesman and really cared not about making a sale but more importantly that I made the right decision on the right car to fit my budget. I decided on a new 2013 Honda CRV-EX and Brian and management opened their books and made every effort to give me the best price and honestly I got a great deal. Not only did I get a great deal on the price of the car that Friday night, but after my 3.34% APR financing went south Saturday morning, I walked into Manhasset Honda ready to void the deal. Brian drew up some financing paperwork and I was approved through American Honda at 0.9% APR and given an additional $500 rebate as well, it blew my mind. Buying a new car is usually a good experience except here at Manhasset Honda, you should leave the dealer with a new car happy not disgrunted with the dealer. 1. the paperwork prepared the night before deliv at Manhasset Honda, you should leave the dealer with a new car happy not disgrunted with the dealer. 1. the paperwork prepared the night before delivery for a period of three hours had to be redone because of glaring errors by the salesman. 2. a delivery time was arranged for two o'clock the folowing afternoon. the car was not at the dealer till after three o'clock. dealer prep was not performed. the velicle was not state inspected. the loan had to be reapplied for because of errors by the salesman. we had advised the dealer we had a doctor's appointement at 5 o'clock which we were not able to keep bacause the velicle was not delivered till four forty five too late for the doctor appointement so the sales manager said here's a coupon for a free oil change and to be careful with the coupon because it was as good as cash lol this was to make everything okay? a total of over six hours to buy a car? not a good experience. I've been to really bad service centers and dealerships before, but this place takes the cake. My wife went there to fix some struts under warranty on our 2012 Odyssey. She waited 3 hours the first day only to be told that they needed to order the parts from a local warehouse, which would be delivered the next day. So she had to come back the next morning to finish the job. Fine, the story seemed reasonable enough. When she came back the next day, they made her wait for an hour and a half and then said that they didn't have a part! They made up a story that the parts were backlogged, but when we saw the order they put in, the part that was missing wasn't even ordered. Instead of telling the truth that they made a mistake, they lied to us and then told my wife to come back again. No way, I know a horrible business when I see one. How can I trust these guys to fix my car? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I am willing to bet a lot of money all these other reviews are fake! Please, for the sake of your sanity, stay away! More
