A simple oil change became a fairly serious maintenance situation. Needless to say, I was not happy to be there, much less happy that I had to spend the entire day there while it was taken care of.
To my pleasant surprise, I found the customer waiting area such a nice facility that the day passed quickly while I was able to get some much needed work completed (thankfully, I had my portable office with me).
The cafe experience was incredible! Simple sandwiches offered to waiting customers, with chips, fruit and beverages. The lady managing this area was so nice. I have a gluten allergy and she created a gluten-friendly plate, even cutting up an apple for a side item.
When I got the news about what my repairs would entail, I was a little shocked. The cafe attendant talked to me about this same time and I, jokingly, mentioned I needed some chocolate, my usual stress reliever. To my surprise, she brought me a chocolate candy bar when returning from lunch! Such a thoughtful gesture... It made a tough day a little easier, to say the least.
During my several hours there, I witnessed this same level of care given to the others waiting with me. From the cafe experience to the service department associates, The kindness as they worked with everyone was truly noteworthy.
The overall experience - facilities and employees - was something I can't imagine is very typical. This is the reason for my long-winded response here.
