On Saturday, I needed a key for my Honda Cr-V. After checking in and waiting over 90 mins, I was told the key blank would have to be ordered. I could come back on Tuesday. I cancelled the order and departed. Then, what I should have done initially (my bad), I went online to check this out. I found the same key creation and programming, done by Ace Hardware, for only $ 74.00. I called the closest location, ensured they had the key blank in stock, and then went there to have it made. Perfect ! Do NOT go to Honda South Motors. This is an example of why people do NOT go to car dealerships for service issues. Bottom Line : a rip-off. I will let everyone in my neighborhood assn and all other local HOAs that businesses like this are NOT welcome in our community. More
