Our salesman ended up being great, hate to admit but at first I was a little skeptical because he approached us in Spanish and I asked him if he spoke English he seemed upset. I’m fluent in Spanish but not first I was a little skeptical because he approached us in Spanish and I asked him if he spoke English he seemed upset. I’m fluent in Spanish but not comfortable doing business in Spanish. I am a Miami native and can get past a lot of what I think many would not find acceptable like the loud Spanish music, the receptionist yelling across the room in Spanish etc…. I am fine with Spanish being spoken obviously but it was more appropriate maybe for a restaurant or place where important business is not conducted. I think that the overall experience lacked a certain level of professionalism. I’m all for a casual business experience but this was at another level. Anyone who is not Hispanic would most definitely feel out of place and uncomfortable here. I almost left but just stuck it out. I don’t think any of my friends or family would have found this to be a place for them to do business. More

My experience at Honda of South Miami was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was assisted by Braulio. I explicitly asked him not to adjust my seat setting disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was assisted by Braulio. I explicitly asked him not to adjust my seat settings. Despite this clear request, my vehicle was returned to me with the seat configuration changed. While this may seem minor, it reflects a lack of respect for direct customer instructions. I had a scheduled service appointment at 11:00 a.m., and I was told the service would take approximately two hours — a timeframe I relied upon due to my demanding schedule. Instead, the process extended until 4:00 p.m., totaling five hours. To make matters worse, I did not even leave with my vehicle. I was informed that due to negligence during the service, something in my car had been damaged and it would need to remain at the dealership until the following day. I was given a rental vehicle, which I neither requested nor wanted, but was left with no alternative. While waiting, I was approached with an unsolicited offer from the dealership expressing interest in purchasing my vehicle. The representative who handled this interaction demonstrated some of the poorest customer service skills I have ever encountered. Although I do not recall his name, his attitude was dismissive and outright rude. After presenting his proposal for a 2026 model, he stated that there was a bank that “takes risks on people like you.” I found this comment highly inappropriate and offensive. I am unclear what he intended to imply, but it was unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand that selling my vehicle to the dealership is entirely optional, especially since this was an offer they initiated — not something I sought out. Out of courtesy, I asked if I could take the worksheet where he had written the figures to review it at home. He responded in a condescending manner, stating, “No, the paper stays here. If you want, take a picture.” At that point, I chose to end the conversation and stated I was not interested. The following day, I returned to retrieve my vehicle. I had explicitly confirmed that it would be ready at 3:00 p.m., as I had an important meeting scheduled afterward. Despite this agreement, I waited an additional 40 minutes before my car was finally brought out. This demonstrates a complete lack of consideration for customers’ time and obligations. Before leaving, I noticed that a plastic securing clip on the floor mat — which was intact when I brought the vehicle in — was now broken. This raises serious concerns about the level of care and attention given to customers’ vehicles during service. If such visible damage goes unnoticed or unaddressed, it calls into question the overall quality control process. Overall, this was a deeply frustrating experience marked by poor communication, lack of accountability, disrespectful treatment, and avoidable damage. Unfortunately, the issues were not isolated to one interaction but occurred across multiple aspects of the dealership’s service. I cannot recommend Honda of South Miami based on this experience. More
