Service felt like a scam I went to Honda today for my first oil change. I went at 8:00 AM and was told that it was a 2 hour wait and would be better after 1:00. I returned at 1:00 and was met by the service adviser Nelson. I explained that we had purchased the car at Honda White Plains but had a service contract and was told we could have the oil service performed at any Honda dealership. He told me there were different types of contracts. Those through Honda and those through the dealership. He said he would run the VIN and call me. 30 minutes later he called and said the VIN did not come up with a service contract. I asked how much the service was he said for oil change and tire rotation (which I requested) it would be $50 + tax. I told him to proceed. I then called the dealer where I purchased the car and they said that I did indeed have a Honda service contract and they would call Honda Greenwich. I went back to the express service center and waited for my car . My car was pulled out of the shop. I went and asked Nelson if my car was done. He said it was. He told me he could not give me a receipt for the oil change he would have to mail it because the system would not allow him to print it out. I asked if I would have an issue with future oil changes at his dealership. He said the car can only come once the oil life is below 15% and a code comes up. I said my oil life was at 5% when I just brought it in. He said he did not know what my oil life was. I said you just serviced it. I asked if the tires were rotated as I requested. Nelson said they did not need rotation. I feel at 8000 miles I wanted my tires rotated. I will never return. This service department can't spell SERVICE! More
Went and got the Quick oil change for our 95 Accord. Well Quick and Excellent Service it what we got. Our is still running great and Honda service is part of the reason why it's doing so well. Very decietful. Looks for ways to take advantage of custome Went in for airbag recall. Also mentioned D light flashing on shifter "we will check that'. No mention of anything else. What these jokers did. -Charged $130 for 'diagnostic'... I.E. pluging in code reader to tell me a sensor needed replacing. When I said 'you did not mention you would charge me just to check' was snottily told. 'You signed a legal document when you dropped off the car". Sevice manager is a jerk on that...then gets sillier. -They fixed the airbag recall in 3+ hours plus a recall on shifter I did not even know about. When I lefft airbag light was still on. I went back and told them. They said "Airbag light was on when you came in, even though we did the recall replacement of the airbags I will need to charge you to do a diagnostic to find out why the light is on". So I asked the genius...."could the light still be on because the new airbags you put in are defective?" He just glared at me and said 'we need to charge you to do a diagnostic on that".. What a bunch of clowns. Also had fun sitting there listening to service manager and a body guy bantering about what a 'pain in the xxx' another customer was and were going to force her to pay a large bill "Don't worry she want the car back badly. she will pay it". This is precisely why people hate low rent dealers with screw the consumer attitude. End result. -Will never take the Pilot or newer Honda Accord to these idiots for service ever again. Also while they were servicing truck I was looking to buy a new Civic Si or Accord sport. After this will never go near Greenwich Honda again. Would rather drive extra 15 minutes and go to Honda of Westport which is run by professionals and not dirtballs. More

Unnessesary work did not fix the problem. I brought my Acura in because it would stall while I was driving at lower speeds. I was told that the alternator was under powered and I should repla I brought my Acura in because it would stall while I was driving at lower speeds. I was told that the alternator was under powered and I should replace the alternator. It was also reccommended that I flush the brake and power steering fluid. I had all this work done and when my wife came to pick it up the power fluid pump was loud and the car squill end when the steering wheel was turned. I was told it would be repaired and that I should come back the next day to pick it up. I came back the next day and nothing had changed. I was then told that the power steering fluid pump needed to be replaced and that they would do it for free. Finally after over a week the car appeared to be "fixed". I took the car home and it appeared to work correctly until the next day when it stalled while I was driving it. It appears that I still have the original problem and I am not convinced I ever needed a very expensive alternator. I would never bring my car back here to be "repaired". More

Bad Service Department, Poor customer service. I brought my car for the 2nd time the diagnostic was a rotor was out of shape, I was told they fix it, then, driving back home my car was undriveable! my car was shaking I couldn't even break, I almost had an accident on I95, I called to service dep. they asked me to bring it back for the 3rd time they drove the car and found that the car was seriously bad. Now my Pilot is good, but it took me three times to get it fixed. More
Terrible service. Worst ever! New crv under warranty. Asked to replace wiper blades, not working. Didn't do it. Noise from front end, told me they didn't hear it. Asked to check rear speakers since they seemed weak. When I asked them if they checked it, they told me they were fine. I insisted they weren't. Service person opened my car door, put his ear to the rear bottom speaker and told me he could hear it. Seriously? Never topped fluids either like other dealerships always do. On long road trip 2 days later and completely out of windshield washer fluid. My first and last Honda at this dealership. They simply don't care. More
