My husband and I had been in on a Friday and were looking at a used vehicle. We were not happy with the deal and decided to look at other vehicles elsewhere. On Saturday before heading to another dealership, my husband called our salesperson Tony and asked how far apart we were on a deal. Tony checked with sales manager Joe Donofrio who said we were $535.00 apart, my husband asked if we could do any better. Joe (who could be overheard in the background) stated to drop the $500. We went in to but the vehicle. When it came time to sign paperwork the $500 was added back in. To make a long story short, Joe ended up firing our saleperson Tony right in front of me when he backed us up and told Joe that he had said to drop the $500 ! I found another salesperson on the floor who said he had heard Joe say to drop the $500 also. I contacted the general manager who in short told me they had had other problems with Tony and this was a last straw type situation--He pointed out that he had found another employee from the service dept (who would therefore have no interest in the deal) that heard Joe say to drop $35 from the $535 not $500. He wanted to know if we were still interested in the vehicle. He did also tell me he had discussed the matter with the owner of the dealership. When I tried to reach the owner I was told he was out of town for a week and unknown when he would be able to get back to me. I feel the sales manager told us one thing to get us into the dealership. I feel it was wrong to fire an employee for being honest. Even if it is true that the salesperson had a history of problems, you do not reprimand or fire an employee in front of the customer. Not even an apology from the general manager about the unprofessional behavior of the sales manager. More
We visited Horne Hyundai to shop for a pre-owned Santa Fe. We did not see anything that would work for us. So my wife and I went inside the showroom and sat inside a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited. WOW! Fe. We did not see anything that would work for us. So my wife and I went inside the showroom and sat inside a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited. WOW! My eyes were stuck wide open and I felt like I was sitting inside a candy store. Tony brought around a 2011 Sonata which we took for a test drive and absolutely fell in love with the vehicle. I'm 6'2" tall and there is more than enough interior room both in the front and back. The overall buying experience was extremely positive! We worked with the General Manager in the finance office who was extremely careful explaining all our options. When we get around to purchasing our next car it will be from Tony at Horne Hyundai. VERY NICELY DONE!!! More
I love the guys and service at Horne Hyundai and have been using their service facilities for over five years. The service reps are always friendly and helpful and even though my car is now over 5 yrs o been using their service facilities for over five years. The service reps are always friendly and helpful and even though my car is now over 5 yrs old, it gets a free wash with every service! How great is that!! I'll be buying another Hyundai from Horne soon because this dealership takes care of its customers. The only weak element in the dealership is the customer lounge. Feels like a Big O waiting room, but there is usually free popcorn.:)Bob Bass More
Initially I knew I wanted a small SUV - New or used. I test drove both and chose a used 2007 Tucson. The following day I called and told them what my choice was and what approximately I could afford and where I wanted my payments to be. That afternoon I picked up my vehicle. Two weeks after my purchase, my daughter, grand daughter and I took a trip to Utah and loved every mile we drove. Thank you Horne Hyundai for your customer service. I feel like I am part of the Horne Hyundai family. More
Horne Hyundai did a fantastic job of taking care of me while my vehicle was being serviced. I really enjoyed my experience there, the employees made me feel like they really cared about me.
