A dealer close to us thought they had a lead on exactly the truck we wanted, but it was older, and had too many miles on it. They did point me in the direction of Huntersville Ford for a vehicle more to our liking. After viewing and driving the truck, we bought it immediately. New Escape to My Specs and on the Road in One Day I arrived at Huntersville Ford at 8:00 am with a car I had driven for seven years and 100,000 miles. A serious issue had developed with its transmission and after consultation I decided a new car was in order. Jackie and Ian of the Huntersville Ford team went to work. I spent a good deal of time with their assistance comparing my driving style and needs with the Ford 2019 vehicle line. I also compared online a variety of other manufacturers and their offerings. By early afternoon I had narrowed my choices to an Eco-Sport or Escape and we worked through the variations of those models. Next we headed for the lot and a personal inspection of each and some test driving. I was provided a thorough demonstration each model's features and chose the Escape SEL. Using Ford's only shopping app I entered my specifications and found the exact model I wanted sitting on Huntersville Ford's lot. Jackie and Ian then started working on the deal. My trade-in was valued and they scoured Ford's incentives to propose a price with which I agreed. Then came the paperwork. The Huntersville Ford took care of everything - trade-in, new care registration, plate transfer, warranty, etc. I wrote a check and drove off the lot with my new Escape SEL before 5:00 pm. More
