Ok I don't even know where to begin :) I first went to Huntington Beach Mazda to check out a used Mazda3 hatchback they had advertised on the internet, when I arrived I was immediatly greeted by the staff Huntington Beach Mazda to check out a used Mazda3 hatchback they had advertised on the internet, when I arrived I was immediatly greeted by the staff an was offered a cold beverage to drink which of course I did. Phillip told me he was fairly new I think he told me it was his third week working for mazda but not to fear cause he had gone threw his certified training an was very familuar with the Mazda3 an in the end he actually was. Next we went on a test drive at which point Phillip was very adiment to not only tell me about the Mazda3's incredible braking capabilities but he demonstrated it when we were going about 40mph he had me place my hand on my chest under the safety belt an with out warning sent the brake pedal straight to the floor. I'll admit at first it was a little scary since I had no idea he was planning on doing that, but you know what the original face of shock immediatly turned into a smile cause I new right then an there that in an emergency braking situation I have nothing to fear cause not only did Mazda's braking system perform above an beyond anything I've even drivin in the past but it also showed me that you really can stear there it the entire time. An for anyone thats ever had to slam the brakes to the ground in any car knows ABS anti lock brakes may not lock up but they definatly dont allow you to steer at the same time without sliding but Mazda's brakes do. Phillip explained to me after that he truely believes most accidents could be avoided if people truely knew what their vehicles really could, an could'nt do, an you know what I think he's right. Thanks Phil... After my test drive we sat down an Phil showed me the numbers, they looked good so I told him I'd be back in tomorrow to buy the car. At this point I was sure Phillip was gonna turn into one of those annoying salesman that says lines like "sir is there anything we can do to earn your buisness today" I know everyones dealt with that when buying a car but to my suprise Phillip nodded his head shook my hand an said perfect what time do you want me to have the vehicle ready at so you dont have to spend another 2 hours here agin even thow I didnt mind it at all. I told him I'd be in around 10am we shook hands again an after walking me out to my motorcycle I left. The next day when I showed up I walked up to Phillip selling my Mazda3 to another customer which at first was kind of disterbing, but you know what it worked out great cause instead of getting a pre-owned Mazda3 Phillip worked his magic an next thing you know I was the proud owner of a New Mazda3 Hatchback. I'm still in shock to be honest Thanks Phillip Seriously when you said buying a car should be a fun thing or bottom line your at the wrong dealership, an at first I thought he was just saying it like some kind of sales pitch but you know what he was an is so right. Honestly if your in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle an you dont go see Phillip well then you deserve what ever poor experience you end up recieving. Again thank you so much Phillip this was honestly the best, an easiest car buying experience I've ever had an of course I'll pass your name along to all my friends. Buying a car at HUNTINGTON BEACH MAZDA was an overall GREAT experience. The sales crew are very polite and friendly without coming off as too strong or invasive, allowing you to look around at their very GREAT experience. The whole process was quick and easy, plus the time I had to wait my sales associate was friendly in conversation and helpful to make the wait a lot more enjoyable. Everyone at HUNTINGTON BEACH MAZDA was happy to show me around and make me comfortable with my purchase. The fact that they invite you back for BBQ every weekend makes you feel you've joined a family. In conclusion, GREAT customer service, GREAT quality of work, and GOOD prices. More
To use CarMax's BOGUS phrase: HB Mazda is the way car buying SHOULD be!! I have NEVER had such a great experience; I actually can't wait to go back for the complimentary burgers, car washes and other pe buying SHOULD be!! I was SO nervous to buy my very first brand new car and not only was my mind completely put at ease, I was given the red carpet treatment to boot! If you are even considering purchasing a vehicle, check out HB Mazda first, I promise you won't want to leave! A special thanks to the entire team that helped me out with my 2011 Mazda 3! You won't meet more knowledgeable or friendly staff anywhere! I'll see you all again soon, save me a hot dog:-) More
I just had my car serviced at Huntington Beach Mazda and only wish it was this easy to do business with other companies, regardless of what industry they are in. I recently called and spoke to John Cemore i only wish it was this easy to do business with other companies, regardless of what industry they are in. I recently called and spoke to John Cemore in the service department. He was extremely professional, friendly, and took the time to address all of my questions with thorough answers. I had purchased my CX-7 from the same dealership so he was able to look up my information and see that I would likely be covered by Mazda manufacturer warranty since they extended the warranty on this particular part due to common failures, otherwise I would be covered by my extended warranty. It's nice to see a company step up to the plate like that. I was able to make it to the dealership that same afternoon to drop off my car and John didn't happen to be there but I spoke with Nick who was just as friendly and helpful as John and got me written up and out of there in under 10 minutes. The next day I got a call from John who let me know that they completely replaced the air compressor, charged and filled the freon, replaced something else connected to the unit, and also that they discovered a ruptured motor mount during inspection, which they also replaced. With so much work to be done I didn't think I would get my car back for a day or two, but it was finished within 24 hours of originally dropping it off! To top it off, their car washer was broken, so they actually hand washed my car and did a very nice job. My car now runs great again (this is the first and only issue I have ever had in over 3 years), my A/C is freezing cold, and best of all, MAZDA COMPLETELY COVERED EVERYTHING, I didn't even have to pay a deductible or diagnostic fee! I walked out of there without spending a penny, except for the $4 the parts department charged me to repair my keyless entry :-) Thank you John, Nick, and everyone at HB Mazda Service Dept. for being so helpful and making a stressful car problem a no hassle and pleasant experience! Other businesses should model their professionalism, friendliness, and customer service after these guys! More

I recently purchased a new Mazda3 from Huntington Beach Mazda through salesman Jon Marchand. The customer service was excellent. Jon's knowledge of the vehicles and the features, optional and standard, was Mazda through salesman Jon Marchand. The customer service was excellent. Jon's knowledge of the vehicles and the features, optional and standard, was superb. He was personable, and made sure I understood what I was purchasing. He spent time going over all the interior features to make sure I knew and understood how to work everything in the car. The staff was very friendly and efficient and seems to hold Jon in high regard. The overall experience was great, and I only hope that future car purchases go so well. I will definitely consider returning to this dealership in the future. More
Airyn was a great sales agent. She had shopped some of her used inventory before we got to the dealership and already knew the vehicle we were interested in before we even showed up. The next morning she drove to their other location (all the way in Tustin) and brought it to the HB dealership so we wouldn't have to travel just to see the vehicle. That was pretty amazing in and of itself! We walked in on a Friday night around 5pm and left with the car at the price and financing we wanted by 7pm. Fastest, friendliest service we have ever had! I brought my car in because it was stuck in gear and there were many codes that came on. Brian handled my case. He said they couldn't find anything wrong with my car. I contacted Brian and he told me that none of the work/testing would result in the window not working. Therefore, I would have to pay for the repair and that it could be expensive if they had to take the door apart. I asked another service advisor and he told me that the window just had to be reset and that it was due to the testing/ work on my car. Shortly after that I drove the car to Vegas and broke down in the dessert. They told me nothing was wrong with the vehicle and I ended up with a $300 towing bill. More
