THEY DON'T HONOR A WARRANTY. No surprise there are negative reviews, we should have read them before we bought our car. While driving to work the splash guard just fell off, she drove home and the car negative reviews, we should have read them before we bought our car. While driving to work the splash guard just fell off, she drove home and the car sat unused until we took it about 2 weeks later for a software update. After driving the car to the dealer, the part was beyond repair, so they said it's not covered. Were we supposed to pay for a tow? Would they have reimbursed us? If not then how were we supposed to get the car to the dealer for repair? They want us to pay them $1,035 to pay for a part that should have never fell off in the first place. It felt as like it was a shakedown. More
Sorry to say, I will not recommend this dealership for service. After having purchased six vehicles from them over 22 years and having every vehicle serviced at Huntington Hyundai, they will not replace service. After having purchased six vehicles from them over 22 years and having every vehicle serviced at Huntington Hyundai, they will not replace two rims on my 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0T that began peeling because of a defect in the preparation of the coating on the rims. The dealer did replace the first two rims when it happened, but they would not replace the remaining two rims when the problem occurred on them. They blamed it on car washes, road salt, etc. That is not the reason they started peeling; it is Hyundai's fault. Why did they agree to replace the original two rims, if it was not caused by a defect from Hyundai's clear coat application process? Now, all of a sudden, they don't think the remaining two rims are defective due to Hyundai??? Our friend in Florida, who owns the exact same car and has the same rims, has also experienced this problem. How can you deny it is a defect in workmanship! In 2020 my husband bought a new Santa Fe Limited, but his mags are different; Hyundai must've stopped using the rims on my car, due to complaints from customers. Sending a certified letter to Hyundai Motors of America resulted in no reply. Other Hyundai owners across the USA have experienced peeling of the black coating on their rims. Customers should not be held liable for something that is defective. More
I just purchased a 2021 Sonata Limited. Bob Awn is a man of his word. He was honest in his dealings with us; very rare in this business. Barbara, the Finance Manager, was also very professional in her deal of his word. He was honest in his dealings with us; very rare in this business. Barbara, the Finance Manager, was also very professional in her dealings with us in explaining other packages without any pressure to buy. I have purchased many cars over the years and have had horror stories with unscrupulous sales persons and dealerships. My mistrust of the automotive business is so deep that I would not sign the title of our old car until I knew that we had possession of the new one. I was waiting for the shoe to drop here as well. IT NEVER DID. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. More

Horrible! They will lie to you and rip you off. They claimed that they check all their used cars thoroughly. I bought a used car and took it to a mechanic within the 48- hour window they gave me to return it if there were problems. I returned the same day (within a few hours) to show them the mechanic’s report but they refused to look at it! They said the mechanic was lying! I took car to the most reputable mechanic in the area - Gustafson Brothers. They took back the used car I bought but stole my deposit of $1000 and returned only $250) . On top of that I had to fight to get the registration back for my own car that I had sold to them. They claimed they didn’t know where the registration was. Unprofessional, rude, arrogant, nasty and untrustworthy. Thieves. They work as a team to swindle you then steal your money with a smile. Grinch eat your heart out. (Their ste is not up to date w respect to current employees). More
Making a large purchase is always stressful. Bob made this a stress-free shopping experience and easy purchase for me. He also went above and beyond by helping me set everything up (bluetooth and other t this a stress-free shopping experience and easy purchase for me. He also went above and beyond by helping me set everything up (bluetooth and other technical accessories that I was not used to working with), and he called me after the purchase to assist me with any technical questions I had when I got home. He was honest (honesty is something that is hard to find these days in sales), personable, and he worked with us and our budget. Overall, it was a great experience working with him. I don't think I would have been as satisfied if I got my vehicle elsewhere or with someone else. :) More
Attempted fraud We waited 30 days to write this review in order to provide data without conveying emotions. On Nov 5th we brought our car into the Huntington Hyundai We waited 30 days to write this review in order to provide data without conveying emotions. On Nov 5th we brought our car into the Huntington Hyundai service department to have a recurring brake light electric short fixed. They claimed it was not under warranty and that front brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced ($565.95). Also added other charges not requested: cabin filter, coolant service and following month inspection amounts (for a total of $913.85 + tax). Nestor, the service department representative sent a text with the breakdown of costs. Nestor was very rude and disrespectful when I questioned how a 2017 Elantra with just over 21,000 miles and driven with caution needs rotors and pads and that electric short in brake light is not covered under warranty. We took the car home without having repairs done and immediately had two estimates elsewhere. Mavis said brakes had 40% left on the pads and the rotors were fine, Mavis also replaced BOTH bulbs in for FREE. Two days later we brought the car to a local gas station for a NY state inspection and there was no mention of needing brakes. Hyundai claimed that a car that has just over 21,000 miles and driven with caution needs rotors and pads and that electric short in brake light is not covered under warranty. BTW we have purchased 5 new Hyundai’s from this dealership. This is a case of fraud plain and simple. We have reported this to the NY Attorney General’s office and will be reporting it to Hyundai corporate. I recommend staying away from this business. Vote with your dollars! More
Don't insult my intelligence Although I greatly enjoyed working with the sales team,, I cannot say the same about the service department. I pulled up to the "wait" area for my 9am Although I greatly enjoyed working with the sales team,, I cannot say the same about the service department. I pulled up to the "wait" area for my 9am appointment and waited and waited and waited. I finally saw a mechanic and said "excuse me, will we (there were two vehicles behind me) be getting checked in? The mechanic kept walking and mumbled "I don't know where he is." Well, that is not good customer service. All employees should be trained to provide assistance to the clients. I finally met with the service associate, went inside, explained what I needed, and had a seat. The room was packed but I expect a crowd at car places so that has nothing to do with my negative review. The mechanic looked over my car and then the service associate tells me that my filters (air and cabin) are dirty. I ask to see them and they tell me the car is up on the lift. I guess you are going to have to take it down so I can see what you are speaking about. Before they show them to me they quote some astronomical figure as to how much the filters are and how much the labor will be. HA! Do you think because a woman walks in you are going to try to rip her off? WRONG GAL, BIG MISTAKE! Do you honestly think that I am going to agree to an 89 dollar charge when I know that filter is 7 dollars? NOPE but good try. I am not sure what type of training the team goes through but this part needs to be eliminated. After I showed the service associate the cost of the filters, he went back to the parts department and guess what? The cost suddenly dropped about 60 dollars (for one) and about 30 for the other, It is a miracle! I am a very bright person and do not appreciate companies who try to rip people off so therefore, this is why I am providing a negative review. Customer service should be your number one priority but it certainly was not during my visit, Please change your procedures so that other clients can provide positive feedback. More
