I purchased a new 2005 Santa Fe from this dealership. All was perfect except for this lousy service department. When my vehicle had power problems at 90k miles, I was told after two visits (the first one the was perfect except for this lousy service department. When my vehicle had power problems at 90k miles, I was told after two visits (the first one they didn't even look at the car after having it all day) that I needed new ignition coils. They told me that I could replace the one "they thought was the problem" for approx $ 400 or replace them all at a cost of approx $ 1000. I chose to replace them all because I take frequent long trips to our summer home and did not want to break down. A week later, and $ 1000 poorer, I took the car in for a NY State inspection and mentioned to the service person that the car was lacking power on inclines. Their reponse was to tell me that the "computer" says there is nothing wrong with the car. A week later, I broke down more than 100 miles from home. I was towed at my expense to the nearest dealership and was told after waiting til;l just about closing time, that I needed a new catalytic converter which cost $ 3500 without labor. Needless to say, I was stranded and kind of forced to purchase a new Tuscon. Then to top it all off, I bring it to this dealership for the first service and was told they were booked and I needed to make an appointment for a week in the future. The service person did not even look at my customer history which would have revealed a very loyal customer who was giving this dealership a second chance. This person's attitude was like I was inconveniencing him. I was robbed of the excitement of buying a new car. He did not care what my story was. Even though I will have to travel out of my way to another dealership, I would not let this service department ever touch my car. I have gicven them this very poor review because they obviously do not care about their service customers nor do they have the proper knowledge to fix my car correctly. Bottom line is that they don't stand behind thier work. STAY AWAY More
