I arrived today for my first service appointment at Hurd Automall after purchasing our Chevrolet Traverse a couple months ago from this same place. They offered the first maintenance appointment for free (only because it was paid for by the manufacturer). I arrived and pulled up into the bay on time for my appointment. I stood by my vehicle for 15 minutes before one of the 4 service reps in the bay actually acknowledged me. Finally, once they took my keys, they told me it would be about an hour. An hour and a half later, I went looking out in the bay and my car was sitting there....no one came to notify me that my car was ready. I waited again by my car in the bay for another ten minutes until the service rep (don't even know his name since he never introduced himself by name or anything to me) yelled accross the bay that I was "good to go". You would figure that if they want to make new customers, they would make sure that your FIRST service appointment was an exception experience and try to go above and beyond expectations. Other dealerships I've purchased cars from will provide wash/vaccum service free of charge for all service appointments. But here, I couldn't even get anyone to ackno0wledge I was there. Lost a potential service lifelong service customer. Also, I used the restroom in the waitingroom/showroom area and there was a sign that said "How to use the restroom: 1) Pee 2) Flush!". A condescending sign in the restroom for customers to see is very unprofessional as well. If there is a problem with urinals not getting flushed, look into self flushing urinals...don't leave a hand written, crappy unprofessional sign telling others "how to use the restroom". Just poor taste. More
Horrible service should have noticed all the "One Star" reviews. Made an apt to drop of my truck for a sagging seat and road shimmy. It's gong on 3 weeks. Paid extra for the bumper to bumper warranty for "piece of mind" only to get aggravated.. More
My 2019 Trax was due for an oil change. I made the appt. 2 weeks ago. Because of the pandemic I requested a home pickup and dropoff at my house They were going to pickup my car between 10:00 and 11:00 whi 2 weeks ago. Because of the pandemic I requested a home pickup and dropoff at my house They were going to pickup my car between 10:00 and 11:00 which never happened. Called Hurd and I was told there was a problem but they would be there .Never happened. Called again and cancelled and guess what? They were here at 1:05 for my car. Hurd had never notified them that I had cancelled I have been a customer for 20 years and this is how I was treated. Will never use Hurd again for anything. More
Absolutely horrible service! I dropped my 2019 Sierra off because the breaks kept engaging on their own and bring my vehicle to a complete stop on several occasions. It’s been a full 24 hours later I’ve received no phone calls and have been stuck without a vehicle because they’ve denied me a loaner until they diagnose the problem. When I called them to see what was going on with my vehicle, there was no one around to answer any of my questions because everyone has gone home for the day. The receptionist and told me I probably won’t be able to get in touch with anybody until Monday.... More
Do not stand by there customers I have a leased 2017 traverse LT with approximately 27,000 miles on it. My car would not start two times in the past 2 months. After trying multiple t I have a leased 2017 traverse LT with approximately 27,000 miles on it. My car would not start two times in the past 2 months. After trying multiple times I finally got it to start and the powered mirrors, locks, radio, A/C, etc. would not work... battery meter flipping up and down when I got it started. On my way to the dealership I kept hitting the buttons and boom everything came back just like the previous time. First time it happened my husband and I called Hurd multiple times and was told they did not have a rental car for us which I needed because I work a full time job in an Operating Room and have 3 children. Nevermind if I get called in for an emergency surgery and I don't have a reliable car or get stuck with my 3 toddlers in the car. Same thing every time I called until it happened again and I just drove there and demanded something be done. When I went there I was told the tire pressure was very low (23lbs) but no tire alert light was on the dash. After having the car for 6 days Hurd can't find the problem and there is NOTHING they can do to make it right for us! When I got home I checked the tire pressures that was supposed to be fixed when they had the vehicle...they are ALL exactly the same. My husband and I as well as a great deal of family have been loyal customers of Hurd. I would never buy/lease another vehicle from them, if you have a problem they will not stand by it. Extra bonus my mother in law bought a brand new Arcadia about six months ago and the black rims are peeling...she also has called several times to have this fixed and they continue to tell her the same thing no rental available. This is unacceptable. Don't waste your time or money on this dealership More

SERVICE DEPARTMENT My SUV had been there all but 6 days since approximately May 10. After 3 weeks it broke down the next day. Another 3 weeks and it lasted 5 days. H My SUV had been there all but 6 days since approximately May 10. After 3 weeks it broke down the next day. Another 3 weeks and it lasted 5 days. Has been there again since June 26th and not one call from them even though we have left messages. No one in the service department answers their calls, just goes to VM. This SUV has a hitch for our camper, motorcycle trailer and a bike hitch and room for our dogs. To date our summer is on hold, lost money on campsites, had to spend $400 TO rent a car to make sure we home safely with the last breakdown. We even called the warranty company inquiring about taking it elsewhere but since it is the same problem no luck. Just horrible and costing us money despite the big price tag on the warranty Hurd sold me. More

I brought my 2016 Buick Encore in today for service. After hearing from the service dept my car was not eligible for dealer prep service; I called Bob Hein Buick Sales Rep extraordinaire. Bob although he wasn't my salesman represented me to the powers to be that my car was indeed eligible for this service. Bob called me back and told me that all would be taken care of. I told him that he is the man! I want to thank him and Wendy Bowen for helping to get this done. They helped to give me relief to what was starting to become a frustrating day. Woo Hoo everything is turning out fine! More

I brought my car in for service after having a issue with my 2005 corvette,..I spoke to Chris Hurd personally and he assured me my car would be taken I brought my car in for service after having a issue with my 2005 corvette,..I spoke to Chris Hurd personally and he assured me my car would be taken care of perfectly. The service manager there David was absolutely outstanding and took care of me better then any dealership ever has and my service advisor Rob was second to none and kept me informed the entire process of my car being worked on. I got the car back quicker then expected and it was flawless. I couldn't stop smiling. Mr. Hurd is a great individual and personally called me to make sure I was taken care of. His service team should be commended for their stellar performance. I will always go back there for work and any future car I purchase. Thanks again guys. Mike g. More
