Honest and Straight Forward After researching a new car purchase for many months and numerous visits to other dealerships we contacted Huttig generally because they had the car w After researching a new car purchase for many months and numerous visits to other dealerships we contacted Huttig generally because they had the car we were interested in. We made one phone call to Rick and realized Huttig was the dealership we would go to buy our new Maxima. The many months of research came down to a chance phone call with Rick Rogers who was completely up front from the beginning to the end of our negotiation. We left Vermont late that afternoon and the staff stayed late on a beautiful Saturday afternoon/evening just for us. Jason who is the Sales Manager and his daughter (who was patiently waiting for her dad) prepped our car for delivery and we took home our brand new Nissan Maxima Platinum. The dealership owner Julie also stayed late. The process with Rick was seamless and he even came close to the trade-in value we were seeking, I still want a bit more Rick! Very Friendly and Helpful, but be sure to schedule appoint.. I had gone to a different dealer before this one and was unimpressed with the fact that the guy I was dealing with didn't even seem to remember my mot I had gone to a different dealer before this one and was unimpressed with the fact that the guy I was dealing with didn't even seem to remember my mother who had come in to see him just a couple of days before, then we came to see Tammy at Huttig Nissan and it impressed me that not only did she easily remember her name but remembered conversations they had. Tammy is very friendly and makes the whole process feel personal and easy. The entire staff treats you polite and with smiles even when going through some of the annoying testy stuff like going over prices and interest rates and such. Regardless of the fact that I was financing a used car from them they never once acted like I was less important than someone buying one of their new cars from them. As one of the first dealerships I've had to deal with, I would say I loved the environment. That being said, Tammy does have a bit of a habit of juggling 2 or 3 different customers at a time which can leave you sitting for a bit waiting. I wouldn't say that is her fault as much as that it is a small dealership with only 2-3 sales people available and a lot of people who demand their attention, so my advice is to make sure you set a dedicated appointment before coming in, as it will at least give your attention the priority. That's just nit-picking though. I know that if I need a car again, this wonderful dealership will definitely be my first stop. More
