Changed my opinion about dealerships! I came to the dealership to test drive a car that I was considering leasing; I had no intention of doing a deal there because my past experience with I came to the dealership to test drive a car that I was considering leasing; I had no intention of doing a deal there because my past experience with large dealerships had been so negative. After being turned off by the scripted, glib, haggling that I'd found characteristic of most large dealerships, I'd started dealing with smaller leasing companies and had been very satisfied with their "get down to business", no nonsense, straightforward service. When 2 salesmen sat me down I told them exactly what I wanted and the price that I was willing to pay. Sure enough, I was subjected to the same sales pitch that made me leave dealerships 20 years ago. I was about to leave until Camille Ciauri, the sales manager, took over. She was a pleasure! I told her the lease price that I was willing to pay and made it clear that that number needed to include all fees and taxes. She met the price, walked me through the process, and was gracious, efficient and straightforward. She took care of my vehicle return and when I realized, 2 days later that I had returned the wrong keys with my old vehicle, she immediately tracked down the keys and arranged for their return. Because of Camille, I would definitely consider Bay Ridge Hyundai again and will recommend it and her to all of my friends. My experience dealing with her was totally not what I'd come to expect from dealerships - she single-handedly changed my opinion. More
